This 1-Night Guided Hog Hunt in South Georgia delivered nonstop activity and a strong finish.

The night began with extensive scouting across multiple areas, with frequent predator and hog movement observed throughout the evening. Several early encounters required quick decision-making as animals moved in and out of cover before setups could be completed.

Later in the night, a single hog was located in open ground, allowing the group to close distance and set up carefully. After an initial encounter where the hog moved off into cover, continued scanning paid off when another hog entered the field nearby. A controlled setup followed, resulting in the first successful recovery of the night.

As the Guided Hunt continued, additional hog movement was detected near field edges and tree lines. A final stalk on a sounderproduced further success, with multiple hogs successfully recovered before activity slowed.

By the end of the night, the group had logged steady movement, multiple stalks, and three confirmed recoveries, making it a productive and exciting one-night hunt. This night highlighted exactly why persistence and adaptability are key during Thermal Hog Hunting across Georgia farmland.

Kids Hunting

Night two of this 2-Night Hog Hunt in Georgia wrapped up the trip with exciting action and great energy in the field.

Early in the night, a single hog was located during setup. Although it moved off quickly, patience and persistence paid off, and the Wild Hog was successfully recovered after careful tracking.

Later on, additional sounders were located across nearby farmland. One group moved out before a setup could be completed, but continued scouting led to another sounder entering the area. With good positioning and teamwork, the group was able to make the most of the opportunity, resulting in five successful recoveries.

What made this night especially memorable was the shared experience. Hog SWAT loves seeing families and kids involved in Hog Hunting, learning the process, and being part of an exciting night in the field. These Hog Hunts aren’t just about results — they’re about creating positive memories and introducing the next generation to responsible Nighttime Hog Control.

Night two closed out the Wild Hog Hunt on a high note, finishing the Hunting Trip strong.

Boar Hunting

This 1-Night Thermal Hog Hunt in Americus, Georgia with Hog SWAT brought a unique start to the night.

James had been down in Florida chasing blue catfish and decided to make the most of the trip by heading north for a Night of Hog Hunting in South Georgia. The decision paid off quickly.

The Wild Hog Hunt kicked off strong when the first field revealed a sounder of hogs, creating an immediate opportunity. The setup came together efficiently, resulting in a sow recovered early in the night.

As the night went on, additional hogs were located, but they stayed on the move and slipped out of the fields before a clean setup could develop. After covering ground and making several stalk attempts, the group headed back toward the van — only to spot a large boar roughly 200 yards away.

With no time to waste, the stalk was on.

As the group closed the distance, the Wild Boar became alert and began moving toward cover. James stayed composed and made his first chance at approximately 100 yards, followed by a second chance after the boar briefly stopped farther out, ending the night with an exciting finish.

From early sounder action to a long-range boar encounter, the Hunt delivered exactly what Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia is known for — unpredictability, fast decisions, and memorable moments in the field.

A great One-Night Hunt in the books, and Hog SWAT was proud to be part of James’ South Georgia Hunting experience.

Night 1 of this 2-Night Thermal Hog Hunt in Georgia with Hog SWAT and Guide Zev started with solid action and a strong opportunity early in the night.

After settling in and getting everyone comfortable with the plan, Zev located a sow traveling with a group of younger hogs. Encounters like this require careful setup, clear communication, and controlled movement to make the most of the opportunity.

The group worked into position and capitalized when the moment presented itself, resulting in four hogs successfully recovered on Night 1. Early-night sounder encounters like this are a great example of how effective Thermal Hog Hunting in South Georgia can be when hogs are active and conditions line up.

With Night 1 in the books and solid momentum heading into the second night, the group wrapped up knowing there was still more ground to cover and more opportunity ahead.

A productive start to a two-night Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT — and Night 2 was still to come.

Night 2: Georgia Boar Hunt

Wild Boar Hunting

Photo: Is This A Boar Tusk? @HogSWAT lol

Night 2 of this 2-Night Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT came down to one thing: Boar Hunting done the right way.

Boars don’t move like sounders.
They don’t linger.
And they rarely give more than one real opportunity.

On this night, Guide Zev covered ground across South Georgia, checking fields and staying patient until the right hog finally showed itself. Eventually, a Lone Boar stepped out — the kind of pig that makes the long drives and late hours worth it.

Boar Hunting in Georgia is a different game entirely. Mature Boars are solitary, cautious, and incredibly tough. They rely on experience and instinct, often appearing briefly before disappearing just as fast. Finding one requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to put in the miles.

When the opportunity came together, the setup was clean and decisive. The boar was successfully recovered, marking a strong finish to the two-night Hog Hunt and a perfect example of why Thermal Hog Hunting is so effective for targeting smart, elusive boars.

Not every night brings nonstop action — but nights like this remind us why we Wild Hog Hunt.
One pig.
One opportunity.
One solid boar.

Another successful Georgia Boar Hunt in the books with Hog SWAT.

2 Night Hog Hunting Trip

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: Wild Hog Hunting @HogSWAT

Night 1 of this 2-Night Thermal Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT was all about family, patience, and making memories together. This hunt was a special one — a honeymoon hunt where the whole family came together to experience Georgia Hog Hunting under the stars.

Early in the night, the group spotted a Single Hog out in the field. The setup came together quickly, and the opportunity didn’t last long. With calm coordination and steady teamwork, the hog was successfully recovered right where it stood, giving the night a strong start.

After that early success, the fields stayed quiet. The crew continued checking ground and covering fields, but no additional Wild Hogs appeared for the remainder of the night. Slow nights happen — that’s Hunting — and the group took it all in stride, enjoying the experience and the time together.

At Hog SWAT, it’s not just about the outcome — it’s about sharing the adventure. Nights like this remind us why Wild Hog Hunting in Georgia is such a unique experience: real farmland, real conditions, and real moments with the people you care about.

With Night 2 still ahead, the excitement is far from over. We’ll see what tonight brings.

Boar Hunting in Georgia isn’t always easy — some nights test your patience, your timing, and your ability to adapt. But that’s what makes Thermal Hog Hunting so rewarding.

On this hunt, Guide Capt. Max led his hunters through a quiet South Georgia night that started slow. After several fields with little movement, they finally spotted a Sounder of Wild Hogs feeding among the tall corn stalks. Everything was lining up until the wind shifted — and the group scattered.

But one Lone Boar made the mistake of staying behind. With the Thermal locked in, the hunters lined up for the perfect chance —
Bam! Pow! Pow! Pow! — the boar sleeping.

That’s what Hog SWAT hunts are all about — patience, teamwork, and the adrenaline rush that comes when all the pieces fall into place. Every Wild Hog Hunt is different, and every stalk teaches something new about how these powerful animals move through Georgia farmland.

At Hog SWAT, we specialize in Guided Thermal Hog Hunts across South Georgia, using state-of-the-art thermal to track and manage Feral Hog Populations. Bachelor Hog Hunting Trip

Bach Hunting Trip

There’s no better way to celebrate a bachelor party than Chasing Wild Hogs under the stars — even when the pigs have other plans. Guide Zev led this one-night Thermal Hog Hunt in South Georgia, just outside Americus, GA, and it was one to remember.

The night started strong when the Thermal Drone spotted a few Wild Hogs at one of the fields we crop protect — twice. The group tried to stalk in close, but the pigs vanished into the trees before anyone could get a chance. From there, the Hog Hunt turned into a true South Georgia adventure: walking fields in the dark, admiring the stars, and keeping the laughs going with plenty of trash talk in the van.

The guys came loaded down with all kinds of tactical gear, ready for action, but sometimes that’s just how Thermal Night Hunting goes — unpredictable and full of surprises. Even without a harvest, the crew had a blast and made memories that’ll last long after the bachelor party’s over.

If you’re planning your own Bachelor Party Hunt in Georgia, grab your friends and come experience the thrill of a Guided Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT. Every night brings a new adventure.

Summer Hog Hunts In Georgia

Hog Hunting

Guide Kaleb led an unforgettable Bachelor Hunt recently. On just the second field of the night, the group spotted a Wild Hog in the back, with a large number of deer between them and their target. They carefully worked their way around most of the deer, but one caught wind and alerted the rest of the field. The Hog became cautious, but the group made a quick move and got into position. Everything came together perfectly. The rest of the night was full of wildlife sightings, including a special moment watching a group of pups—possibly coyotes—play together under the stars. Successful Hog Hunting.

A Night to Remember:

Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Kaleb

Some nights in the Planted Fields are packed with activity from the start. Others build anticipation until just the right moment. On a recent Hog SWAT Thermal Hunt, Guide Kaleb led a group through one of those slow-burn kind of nights—and it turned into an experience worth talking about.

“The night started off slow,” Kaleb said. “There were plenty of laughs and jokes being tossed around, but not much movement out in the fields.”

Even when the action takes its time, our team stays ready. Patience and persistence are key in this game, especially under the South Georgia stars. The team stayed alert, scanning the fields through Thermal, staying sharp despite the quiet.

Then, early in the morning, a single heat signature appeared.

“We spotted a Solo Hog moving through the brush,” Kaleb recalled. “We made a careful stalk—and it did not disappoint.”

That Lone Wild Hog sighting ended up being the only one of the night, but it made the entire evening worth it. Sometimes it just takes one encounter to turn a slow night into an unforgettable one.

At Hog SWAT, every Hog Hunt is different. Whether the action is non-stop or the fields stay quiet until the last hour, our guides work hard to deliver a Hunting Experience you won’t forget. Shoutout to Kaleb for staying sharp and keeping the group engaged—even when the Wild Pigs play hard to get.

Fast-Moving Pigs

A Night Hunt with Hog SWAT

Some nights, the Pigs cooperate. Other nights, they keep you on your toes. On this Hog Hunt, Guide Hank led a group into the fields for a One-Night Thermal Hog Hunt, and the Wild Pigs weren’t making it easy.

Closing the Distance

With Thermal Equipment Scanning Fields, we spotted a group of about Sounder of 10 Hogs. The challenge? They were already on the move. When Hogs are covering ground quickly, every step counts. The key to success was getting as close as possible before they picked up speed and disappeared into the brush.

Making The Moment Count

We closed in carefully, timing our approach just right. When the moment came, the Hunters got there Wild Hogs before the rest of the group scattered. Fast-moving pigs is a challenge, and these guys handled it well.

Persistence Pays Off:

A Long Night of Hog Hunting with Guide Hank

Best Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Pulled Pork… @HogSWAT

Some nights, the Pigs are everywhere. Other nights, they make you work for it. Guide Hank just wrapped up a 1 Night Hog Hunt that pushed patience and determination to the limit.

The night started slow—real slow. “Looked for Wild Pigs everywhere with none in sight,” Hank said. But giving up isn’t in the Hog SWAT playbook. The team stayed on the move, Scanning Fields, cutting through the darkness with Thermal Equipment, and covering miles in search of hogs.

As the night stretched into the early morning hours, it looked like the Hogs might win this round. But then, just before dawn, they caught sight of a Lone Hog sneaking through the last field of the night. This was the moment they had been waiting for.

The Hog Hunters moved in. From there it was success. But the hard work paid off: the Hunters took home some harvest and, more importantly, a night full of memories.

“Great success,” Hank summed up. And that’s what it’s all about—putting in the effort, staying patient, and making the most of every opportunity.

Two Nights of Hog Hunting with Guide Zev

Mud, Miles, and Mayhem

Photo: Sleppy Piggy @HogSWAT

At Hog SWAT, every Guided Hog Hunt has its own story—sometimes it’s about the Pigs, sometimes it’s about the people. Guide Zev just wrapped up a 2 Night Hog Hunt that had a little bit of both… plus some unexpected entertainment.

Night 1:

When Max Steals the Show

The plan was simple—find Pigs, put clients on them, and start Stacking Hogs. But things took a turn when fellow Capt Max showed up early and handled business before Zev even arrived. “I would’ve gotten more pigs,” Zev said, “but Max had to show up early and assert dominance and took them all before I got there.”

With some Wild Hogs already taken care of, the night turned into more of a grind. Around 4 a.m., they finally caught up with a Lone Hog and made a solid Hunting Stalk—about 800 yards of slow, careful movement through the field. The payoff? Yes.

Oh, and then there was hunter who took an unexpected tumble in the middle of the field. No injuries, just a little extra dirt in the experience.

Night 2:

Don vs. the Mud Hole

Don was here to Hog Hunt. At some point during the night, he spotted a mud hole by accident and, made a full dive into it… This happens more than people think.

The results?

• One very muddy Don.

• One very dirty rifle.

• One hunter sitting in the van for the rest of the night.

Meanwhile, Zev put in the work, covering a lot of ground with his remaining Hog Hunters. They made a solid approach, but the Pigs got spooked before anything happened. Even though no Wild Pigs took a nap that night, the guys stayed chill, enjoying the challenge for what it was.

Final Tally:

A Hunt to Remember

Between Max stealing the action on Night 1, the long stalks, a surprise mud wrestling match, and plenty of miles covered, this two-Night Hunt was far from boring. And while Zev didn’t get the big numbers this time, the memories (and the mud) will definitely stick like Georgia Clay.

A Wild Night Hunt with Hog SWAT

Hunting Stalks

Photo: Hunting Stalks @HogSWAT

Some nights, the Thermal Hunt comes easy. Other nights, the Pigs make you work for it. But at Hog SWAT, we don’t believe in giving up—and neither did this crew on a recent Hog Hunt led by Guide Hank.

From the start, it seemed like the Wild Pigs had disappeared. Hours passed, and despite scanning field after field with Thermal Equipment, nothing showed. The frustration was setting in, but we kept moving, covering ground, and staying ready. And then, just when all hope seemed lost—there he was.

Hog Hunting

Photo: Pig Hunt @HogSWAT

A Lone Hog popped up on the Thermal, moving through the field ahead of us. This wasn’t going to be an easy stalk. As we closed in, he spooked and bolted deeper into the field. We tracked him again, only for him to slip away. This cat-and-mouse game repeated itself, testing our patience and skill. Each time we got close, the Wild Hog would make another break for it.

But we don’t quit. Finally, after a careful, calculated approach, we got into position, and just like that—success.

This Wild Hog Hunt was a reminder of what makes Thermal Hog Hunting so thrilling. It’s not always easy, but perseverance pays off. At Hog SWAT, we Hunt hard, push through the challenges, and make every night in the field an adventure.

Hunt Recap:

Persistence Pays Off

Hunting Hogs

Photo: Wild Hog Hunts @HogSWAT

Some nights, the Pigs make you work. Guide Hank led a Hog Hunt that started slow—almost feeling like a burn. The team covered ground, checked field after field, and refused to call it quits.

Then, near the end of the night, persistence paid off. One of the last fields they checked had Wild Pigs. The Hunters geared up and moved in, ready to stalk the group. But as they closed the distance, a Lone Boar broke off and unknowingly walked straight toward them. With no way to maneuver around him and still get to the Sounder, things had to be done. Success.

One Hog napping for the night, but in the world of Thermal Hog Hunting, any successful stalk is a win. Some nights, the pigs pile up. Other nights, it’s about adapting, making the most of the opportunity, and proving that giving up is never an option.
