Hog Hunt - Georgia Hog Hunts
Another successful hunt!!! first field produced a easy opportunity to start off the night. We got a few new properties to hunt that are ate up with hogs doing damage to some orchards. Our Farmers and land owners rely on us to do a good job at helping with this invasive wild hog problem. After grinding though the night another sounder was spotted in a peanut field that hogs have been hitting pretty hard. 2 more hogs were eliminated from SW Georgia peanut fields to end the night.
Hog Hunting For the First time
First Time Hog Hunting and it was a success. Guide Noah was able to get this Hog down out of a group of 15 ish. While only a few presented good shots this one went down. After checking a few more fields, They circled back to the field they were successful and another sounder was spotted. The first time hunters were able to drop 2 more out of 8. Everyone thinks Wild Hogs are dumb, but it’s probably the smartest animal in North America that is actively hunted. We take pride in taking first time hunters and ensure a safe and memorable hunt.
BACHELOR Party - Hog Hunts
What kind of Bachelor party Ideas do you have? Why not come to SW Georgia and Slay Hogs with your wedding party? It was slow with severe rain and thunder storms til 2-3 am. We finally were able to get on a large sounder and put 10 Hogs down getting done at sun up after butchering. 2 Guides led their teams out together to line up and knock them down. The groom didn’t want to spend his time riding around in the van and tried to end it at 2:30 am, but we pushed through to persevere with a successful hunt. While some nights are action packed some nights can be slow. The photos don't tell the full story and the ups and downs of the hunt. I made a bet with the groom if he missed he would have to share his favorite photo of his Bride with me. He didn’t miss and now I don’t get to see his favorite photo. He will have a successful marriage since he performed under pressure, and gets the HogSWAT bessing.
We can accommodate wedding parties as large as 20 hunters with 4 guides . Pleas call 229-364-4016 to inquire on our next Bachelor Party, Honeymoon trip, Corporate Retreat, Team Building Exercise, Or Hog Hunting Experience.

Stuck In The Mud - Second Night - Please Read
We hunt year-round in all types of weather to give our customers the best effort possible on every hunt. On the first night, Guide Jordan Started hunting at 8 PM until 6 AM and the group had a very successful night, piling up hogs.
On the second night, Jordan checked a few fields before unfortunately sliding into a ditch on Buck Nelson Road. While accidents happen in this line of work, we always strive to do right by our customers. We understand the time, money, and travel expenses that go into coming to Southwest Georgia to hunt with us, and we value that greatly.
Each of our vehicles is equipped with AWD or 4WD, traction pads, and recovery tools. Unfortunately, Jordan was unable to locate his shovel, which made getting unstuck more difficult. Our internal policy is to attempt recovery ourselves for at least an hour before calling a tow service. On this particular night, we did not have additional guides or support assets available, so Jordan contacted Peacock Towing, a local company that has reliably assisted us many times over the years in our rural area. To clarify, the road where the vehicle became stuck was a county-maintained road, not a private farm road.
The vehicle was recovered around 12:30 AM. Afterward, the group decided to end the hunt, feeling that too much of the night had been lost. The following morning, after speaking with Jordan and getting a full understanding of the situation, I reached out to the customer and offered a complimentary night of hunting for the affected hunters. Shortly after, I received a Google review describing the experience negatively, followed by phone calls in which legal action was mentioned.
I have always tried to treat customers fairly and stand behind my guides and our business. I have never rescinded an offer made to a customer, and we work hard to make things right when situations outside anyone’s control happen. However, moving forward, my team and I will have to figure out this groups intentions moving forward.
We are always open to honest feedback and understand that not every hunt will go perfectly. HogSWAT has been operating since 2008 and have built our reputation on hard work, honesty, and fairness. We have both positive and negative reviews, and we continue to learn and improve from every experience.
At the end of the day, people book hunts to create memories with family and friends, and we genuinely value being part of those moments. Communication is important to us, which is why we provide detailed information on our website along with clear booking and cancellation policies.
We appreciate all of our customers who continue to support our small business, and we will continue working hard to provide the best hunting experience possible.
Stacking Hogs - Thermal Hog Hunting
John, Dwight, and Dakota were able to stack up some hogs for the first night of their weekend hog hunt. Guide Jordan went 5/5 on the first encounter for the night. Then had to play cat and mouse on some fields with hogs coming in and out of the corn to feed on peanuts. None were recovered as they all made into the tall corn. Third go round was on a field next the the road, they made a great stalk, but then the neighbors dogs started barking so shots were rushed. Finally they checked one last field to find a sounder destroying a corn field. They stack them up with what they could find in some knee high corn. We try to get as many encounter as possible and it’s a rinse and repeat process. Meaning we get a go round, pile them up, do photos, butcher and then go look for more. Rarely will will pile them up at the end of the hunt for a glory photo. We Hog Hunt vast areas due to crop rotation and hot spots. If you want to stack up some hogs book a hunt with us at HogSWAT.
Update to Booking Policy
Effective today, we are updating our Booking, Cancellation, and Equipment Policies.
We will no longer be offering freezer service for our hunts. Our goal has always been to provide the best experience possible for our hunters, and unfortunately freezer service has recently created issues with meat pickup times and equipment reliability, including freezers not properly freezing meat.
Because your meat is important to you, we want to ensure it is properly cared for by having it packed directly into your coolers for transport home.
Equipment malfunction has always been addressed within our booking policy. We work hard to properly maintain all equipment and provide the best experience possible while removing anything that could create a negative experience for our customers.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Second Night of Hog Hunting - Americus, GA
Second night of hog hunting ended with these two peanut bandits getting taken out. After a few failed attempts and recoveries earlier in the hunt, Guide Jordan finally connected after battling some tough high winds and putting in the work.
This group of guys were awesome, 3 generations hunting together is a special thing to be apart of. We are grateful to be apart of these special moments in time. I train my guides with procedures and safety protocols for every hunt so customers remain safe.
Safety is something we take seriously here at HogSWAT. We owe it to your family and everyone involved to maintain a standard of integrity and accountability to keep people safe. At the end of the day, we will always stand behind protecting our customers, guides, farmers, and everyone involved over anything else. Safety comes first. Always.
Family Fun Hog Hunting
First Night of Hog Hunting started off getting on a sounder in some Wheat. Were able to put quite a few down but it was impossible to gather them all up in the tall wheat. Jordan was able to put hands on 3 without spending more time trying to recover all of them. Found another sounder on a field just outside of Americus, GA and tried to get super close. Jordan was able to use the tree line to get within 50 yards to ensure the best opportunity. Double digits of hogs down has eluded him this season, but he gets the most opportunities of any guide. After the smoke settled and the screams stopped only 2 hogs were down in the field. He was heart broken, but happy to help the farmers.
I tell Jordan I make it look easy. Jordan, sometimes you don’t always get what you want. Jordan sometime customers don’t really want to take that much meat home. Jordan, you need to get closer. Jordan, use a bigger caliber. Jordan, have them aim. Jordan I need to stop typing this, but I am having too much fun.
Spot and Stalk Hog Hunting
Started the night fast, finding the first sounder of wild hogs and putting 4 down after they got spooked. We spent the rest of the night checking fields, spotting plenty of deer movement, but the hog activity suddenly turned into a ghost town.
Guide Noah stayed persistent and finally located another sounder of feral hogs feeding in a muddy field. After a long, slow stalk through the dark, one of the hunters accidentally slammed his thermal optic while setting up, spooking the group. Even with the busted opportunity, the hunters managed to drop one big sow hog before the rest disappeared into the night.
Not every Georgai hog hunt goes perfectly, but nights like this are what make predator and hog hunting unforgettable — spot and stalk action, thermal hunting, muddy fields, close encounters, and hard-earned success on invasive wild pigs.
Friends Wild Boar Hunting
Two friends hunting together with us in Georgia. They wanted a quick Hog Hunt and Guide Noah was able to get them on a single boar after checking a few fields. we usually hunt late, but since we are fully private customers can dictate when the hunts need to end. We pride ourselves on safety and putting in the work to get our customers on Hogs.
We Love Hog Hunting
Guide Jordan was able to get them on a sounder early dropping 3 to start the night. Later in the night a scout called them in on a single wild hog and they dropped it with ease. Later a failed stalk happened and the sounder spooked. Hunting at night has its challenges limited viability, fatigue, muddy walking condition, and most of all the thrill. We love guiding hunts and helping our farmers. Book a Hunt at www.HogSWAT.com
