3 Friends who came down for a Wild Hog Hunt for a night. Jordan was able to get them 3 encounters on solo boars. He wasn’t able to find a sounder, but 3 go rounds is better than none. 2 of the Hogs made it out of the field, but this small boar was taken. They also wanted euro mounts and that is something we offer for $225.

We hunt because the Hogs are already wet. We pretty much hunt all weather except thunderstorms. We understand the commitment customer’s make coming all the way to Georgia to Hog Hunt. So we do everything we can to get you on hogs, Would you rather sit in a hotel or go hunt? Rain or shine we are out helping farmer and wage and all out war on these invasive animals. While Other sit on the sidelines we brave the weather and have a little bit of excitement. Trees were down, Rain was pouring down on stalks, The winds gusting and changing direction as the night went on. Both guides were able to have some sucess for the night. Noah was able to pile them up while Jordan connected on a boar but it was never recovered. We can’t predict the weather, Hog movement, or the stalks we have to make. But we put in the effort and try to make a memorable experience.

First Night of Hog Hunting started off getting on a sounder in some Wheat. Were able to put quite a few down but it was impossible to gather them all up in the tall wheat. Jordan was able to put hands on 3 without spending more time trying to recover all of them. Found another sounder on a field just outside of Americus, GA and tried to get super close. Jordan was able to use the tree line to get within 50 yards to ensure the best opportunity. Double digits of hogs down has eluded him this season, but he gets the most opportunities of any guide. After the smoke settled and the screams stopped only 2 hogs were down in the field. He was heart broken, but happy to help the farmers.
I tell Jordan I make it look easy. Jordan, sometimes you don’t always get what you want. Jordan sometime customers don’t really want to take that much meat home. Jordan, you need to get closer. Jordan, use a bigger caliber. Jordan, have them aim. Jordan I need to stop typing this, but I am having too much fun.

Southwest Georgia’s Best Thermal Hog Hunting. The night started off slow but Kaleb was able to get his group on a Sounder. The Group of Hogs were able to evade them buy moving into the trees with no clear opportunities. It happened again in another field but He was able to re-home a Wild Hog after a long night of Hog Hunting.

The first field held a couple of nice-sized Boars. The Stalk was muddy and wet, but fortunately, the rain had given way. They closed to about 60 yards when we set up and fired a volley. Nailed ‘em! That was the easy part. Afterward, they dragged our pigs about 400 yards through the mud until they could finally hitch them to the Hog Van and get them to the Hog dump. Then proceeded onto a few more fields and didn’t find much luck. Eventually, at a large peanut field, they found 6 Smaller Pigs; however, the wind switched up on them and they got spooked. They headed down the road a bit and immediately saw about 20 Wild Pigs in a Large Sounder. As they got close, it became apparent that there were more like 50+ Hogs in a Mega Sounder! These Pigs had no idea what was coming, and we fed them lead. After the dust settled, our Hunters got exactly what they wanted: 8 Suckling Pigs for a total of 10 downed throughout the night!

Last nights Thermal Hog Hunt in Americus, Ga. Only Wild Hog of the night. Solo Boar, guys dropped it in the first cadence shot. Man on the left can’t show his face for work reasons. It was another glorious night of Thermal Hog Hunting in Americus Georgia. Guide Captian Peanut Protector Clayton feels good to be back. I think the Piggies missed him while he was away on vacation. These guys had fun on last nights Wild Hog Hunt. I watched there Hog Hunting video footage, and they were pro’s! Ryan ended up buying his Hog Hunting Video. These guys took down eleventeen Hogs last night - not 12, not 10, but eleventeen. After a slow first night of Thermal Hog Hunting with only 2 down, we made up for it with a more productive latest hunt, taking down 5 on our first encounter, followed by a Coyote and another 6 Wild Hogs by the end. Needless to say, we were ecstatic with our haul. I would have to say these guys are a crazy good shot. Lets see if anyone can beat thier record this year!
Our team also welcomed Rob and Anthony, who booked with us for Anthony's first ever Hog Hunt. It was a roaring success and we're grateful that he chose to make Hog SWAT his First Hunting Experience.

It was an exceptional evening for our guests on their Hog Hunt! We feel privileged that they chose us at Hog S.W.A.T. for their first-ever Guided Wild Hog Hunting experience.
