On night 1 of thier 2 Night Hog Hunt, in the first few fields, they didn't have much luck. In their third choice, they came across a Boar being Stalked by 2 Coyotes. They took a shot at all three, managing to drop a Large Coyote and the Wild Boar. Continuing on, they found a Sounder that was playing with property lines and attempted to wait for them to return to their field. Unfortunately, the Sounder did not come back. They returned later, only to see the Pigs in the field but they walked back to the neighbors as they approached, which was quite frustrating for them.
Guide Ben was excited about this Thrilling Night they had Hunting Pigs on night 2. They watched a pair of Boars Charging across the field, but decided not to Stalk them. Instead, they found another Group of Hogs. The next group was a Sounder spotted several hundred yards away. These Hogs led them to more amiable ones, which they decided to take down. Due to the wind, they shot at them from 225 yards away. Young Noah dropped his Wild Boar with the first shot, and his father ensured it didn’t get up. Moving on to seeking revenge, they targeted a Large Sounder they had seen the night before. Sitting at the edge of the wood line, they waited until the lead Sow made a move. After shooting at her, the whole Sounder Charged at them. Not satisfied yet, they went to a nearby field and found a boar about 750 yards away. Well, another Boar came out and tried to fight him over the peanuts so they watched and waited to see what would happen. They squared off, and the smaller newcomer tucked his tail and cleared the field. Sometimes losing is a good thing. They stalked the Victor Boar and dropped the 350lb Boar! Overall, it was a night filled with excitement and successful Hog Hunting. We hope they come back for more Boar Hunting!
