Thermal Pig Hunts

Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia isn’t as simple as it might look on video — and that’s what makes it such a thrill.

On this Wild Hog Hunt, Guide Zev reminded his hunters that Wild Hogs are incredibly smart animals. They learn fast, travel miles in a single night, and constantly change their patterns. One evening you’ll find them in a cornfield — the next, they’re gone without a trace. That unpredictability is what keeps hunters on their toes and makes every Thermal Night Hunt unique.

With Hog SWAT, we don’t bait or sit and wait. We hunt, stalk, and move, scanning the fields with state-of-the-art thermal to find where the pigs are hiding. It’s real Hunting — challenging, exciting, and always an adventure under the stars.

And while hunting isn’t guaranteed (no matter the animal or location), every night in the field is time well spent — especially when we get to share it with families and kids who are experiencing Wild Hog Hunting for the first time. Watching a young hunter’s excitement when they see their first sounder light up on a thermal scope is something special.

At Hog SWAT, that’s what we love most — not just the hunting, but the experience of teaching others what makes Hog Hunting in South Georgia so addictive and unforgettable.

Whether you’re a seasoned hunter or bringing your kids for their first hunt, Hog SWAT offers the ultimate Guided Hog Hunts in Georgia — where every night brings a new story, a new challenge, and a chance to experience the wild like never before.

Boar Hunting In Georgia

Georgia Hog Hunts

Boar Hunting in Georgia isn’t always easy — some nights test your patience, your timing, and your ability to adapt. But that’s what makes Thermal Hog Hunting so rewarding.

On this hunt, Guide Capt. Max led his hunters through a quiet South Georgia night that started slow. After several fields with little movement, they finally spotted a Sounder of Wild Hogs feeding among the tall corn stalks. Everything was lining up until the wind shifted — and the group scattered.

But one Lone Boar made the mistake of staying behind. With the Thermal locked in, the hunters lined up for the perfect shot —
Bam! Pow! Pow! Pow! — the boar dropped instantly.

That’s what Hog SWAT hunts are all about — patience, teamwork, and the adrenaline rush that comes when all the pieces fall into place. Every Wild Hog Hunt is different, and every stalk teaches something new about how these powerful animals move through Georgia farmland.

At Hog SWAT, we specialize in Guided Thermal Hog Hunts across South Georgia, using state-of-the-art thermal to track and manage Feral Hog Populations. Wild Hogs cause millions in crop damage each year, and our Hog Hunts help control their numbers while giving hunters an unforgettable experience in the process.

If you’re ready to experience the challenge of Boar Hunting in Georgia, Hog SWAT delivers — real guides, real Hunts, and real results.

Guided Thermal Hog Hunt

Night one of this 2-Night Thermal Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT kicked off with some solid success under the stars.

Guide Zev led his hunter out east to Larry Cooper Road, where the team spotted a Sounder of Wild Hogs moving through the fields. With expert setup and precision Hunting, he managed to drop two pigs before the rest of the group disappeared into the trees — a strong start to this South Georgia Hunt.

The action proves one thing: the pigs are still out there, and they’re on the move. This region is packed with Feral Hog activity, especially around farmland and backroads where Hog SWAT runs its Wild Hog Hunts. Every night brings a different challenge, and that’s what keeps Night Hog Hunting so exciting.

At Hog SWAT, we specialize in Guided Thermal Hog Hunts in South Georgia, using state-of-the-art thermal to help hunters spot and engage hogs after dark. Our Thermal Hunts aren’t just about the thrill — they help landowners protect their crops and property from the damage caused by wild hogs.

Whether you’re booking your first Guided Hog Hunt in Georgia or returning for another adventure, Hog SWAT delivers the full experience — top-tier equipment, experienced guides, and plenty of adrenaline once the pigs start moving.

Night two is up next, and if it’s anything like this one, we’re in for another great night of Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia.

Bachelor Hog Hunting Trip

Bach Hunting Trip

There’s no better way to celebrate a bachelor party than Chasing Wild Hogs under the stars — even when the pigs have other plans. Guide Zev led this one-night Thermal Hog Hunt in South Georgia, just outside Americus, GA, and it was one to remember.

The night started strong when the Thermal Drone spotted a few Wild Hogs at one of the fields we crop protect — twice. The group tried to stalk in close, but the pigs vanished into the trees before anyone could get a shot off. From there, the Hog Hunt turned into a true South Georgia adventure: walking fields in the dark, admiring the stars, and keeping the laughs going with plenty of trash talk in the van.

The guys came loaded down with all kinds of tactical gear, ready for action, but sometimes that’s just how Thermal Night Hunting goes — unpredictable and full of surprises. Even without a harvest, the crew had a blast and made memories that’ll last long after the bachelor party’s over.

If you’re planning your own Bachelor Party Hunt in Georgia, grab your friends and come experience the thrill of a Guided Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT. Every night brings a new adventure.

Birthday Hunting Trip

There’s no better way to celebrate a birthday than chasing Wild Hogs in Georgia!

Guide Capt. Clayton led this 1 Night Hog Hunt in Americus, GA, where the crew came down to celebrate Austin’s 34th birthday. The night kicked off strong — in the very first field, they spotted pigs and made quick work of it. Two bangs later, one hog sleeping forever before midnight.

Things slowed down after that, but not for lack of effort. Around 2 AM, the team spotted two more pigs in another field, only for a pack of coyotes to start howling and push the pigs deep into the trees before they could line up another chance.

Even with the slow stretch, the guys had an awesome night celebrating, Hunting, and making memories that will last far longer than the birthday cake.

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, come celebrate your next big day with Hog SWAT — where the lights go out, the scopes light up, and the action never gets old.

Guide Hank wrapped up the second night of this two-night Hog SWAT Hunt in Americus, Georgia with another solid success!

It was a long night of riding through the fields, scanning with thermals, and catching sight after sight of deer — but no Wild Hogs in range. Persistence pays off, though. Around 4 AM, the team finally spotted a Big Sow feeding alone in a peanut field.

With the bright moonlight backlighting their position, Hank and the hunters moved carefully to avoid spooking her. Once they lined up from about 200 yards out, they made it count. One clean placement, one Big Pig forever sleeping — great success.

This Wild Hog Hunt is a perfect example of what Thermal Hog Hunting in Georgia is all about: patience, precision, and persistence. You never know when the next field, or the next hour, will turn into the moment you’ve been waiting for.

Father-Daughter Duo and a Close Call for the Dawgs 🐗❤️

It was another great night of Hog Hunting in Americus Georgia with Guide Zev leading the way for this Father-Daughter Hunting Duo! After dropping five pigs on night one, the crew wasn’t done yet — they were back for round two and ended the hunt with one Big Pig down.

Meanwhile, Georgia fans were holding their breath as the Dawgs faced Auburn, trailing until the fourth quarter. We didn’t score until the third — it was way too close for comfort. But just like the Dawgs pulled through with a 20–10 win, this Father-Daughter Hunting Team stuck it out and made it happen under the stars.

There’s nothing better than seeing Families Hunting together and making memories that’ll last forever. Whether it’s college football Saturdays or late-night stalks in the fields, South Georgia keeps you on your toes.

If you’ve never experienced the rush of a Thermal Hog Hunt, come see what it’s all about. You might just get your own story worth cheering for.

What’s better than College Game Day in Georgia? A Friday night spent chasing Wild Hogs under the stars.

While fans were gearing up for another weekend of football, one Father–Daughter Hunting Duo was out in the fields for night one of their 2-Night Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Zev — and they kicked things off like champions.

The night started off calm, but as soon as Zev got them in position, things got exciting fast. With steady teamwork and good communication, they dropped five pigs, setting the tone for an action-packed weekend.

Between laughs, stories, and a few “Go Dawgs!” (they didn’t say that I added it because… GO DAWGS!) along the way, this Hog Hunt had everything that makes South Georgia nights special — family, teamwork, and the thrill of watching the fields light up through thermal scopes.

Stay tuned for night two, because if this first round is any sign, the next one’s going to be a highlight reel…lol

Guide Zev recently led a one-night Thermal Hog Hunt for Hog SWAT, and it turned into one of those short, sweet, and memorable nights in the field. The group spent the first part of the night scanning plenty of deer through the thermal, waiting for the right opportunity.

Eventually, a hog made an appearance — and that’s when things got exciting. There’s nothing quite like watching a sounder or a single hog light up on thermal in the middle of the night. Every detail, from their movement to the heat signature in the grass, brings a whole new level of adrenaline to Night Hog Hunting.

That’s what makes Boar Hunting in Georgia so unique. Even on a short trip, every field holds surprises, and every Wild Hog Hunt offers something different. The experience itself — the teamwork, the gear, and the thrill of spotting pigs under thermal — is what keeps hunters coming back year after year.

No Gaurentee In Hunting

Not every night in the field ends with Wild Hogs on the ground, but every Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT is an adventure worth remembering.

Range Time

Photo: Range Time @HogSWAT

Before heading out, the group spent time on the shooting range — an important part of every Guided Thermal Hog Hunt in Georgia. This is where hunters get familiar with the fun things that go bang, practice with thermal, and review safety. Range time ensures that when the moment comes, hunters are confident and ready.

Sounder of Hogs

Photo: Come This Way Little Piggy’s @HogSWAT

Guide Zev led this 1 Night Hog Hunt in Americus, Georgia. While a large sounder of nine hogs showed up, they were across the boundary line on neighboring property where we couldn’t pursue. Even without the opportunity to move in, the night still had plenty of highlights.

Night Hog Hunting

Out in the field, the Hog Hunt offered its own rewards. The South Georgia night sky, the farmland terrain, and the anticipation of seeing hogs kept the energy high. Hunting Wild Hogs isn’t always about immediate results — it’s about the pursuit, the camaraderie, and protecting farms when the chance presents itself.

As Zev put it, “The dudes were cool, I had fun.” That’s the spirit behind every Hog SWAT Hog Hunt. Each outing is unique, and while some nights end with hogs down, others remind us why this work is so important — keeping destructive wild hogs in check while delivering an Unforgettable Hunting experience.

Georgia Hog Hunting

Night Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Hunting Hogs At Night @HogSWAT

The second night of this 2-Night Hog Hunt showed just how unpredictable Wild Hogs can be. The Hog Hunters started the evening sitting over a field, where plenty of deer and critters kept the night lively.

Around 2:30 a.m., two Hogs finally appeared. The deer in the field ended up spooking them and pushing them farther away, but the hunters stayed patient and made a move. They set up for a chance a little farther than normal and made contact with both pigs, but the hogs managed to slip into cover before they could be recovered.

Even without hogs to show, it was still a Thermal Hog Hunt full of action, close calls, and long hours under Thermal. That’s the reality of South Georgia Hog Hunting—sometimes the win comes in the chase itself.

Every night in the field adds to the experience, and with Feral Hogs, no two Guided Hog Hunts are ever the same.

South Georgia Hog Hunt

Thermal Hog Hunting

Night one of the two-night Thermal Hog Hunt in South Georgia was full of action and long stalks. Early in the evening, deer were moving heavy, but the Wild Hogs didn’t make their appearance until later. Around 2:30 a.m., the hunters finally spotted the first pig. This hog gave them a real challenge, staying just out of range and eventually slipping into the treeline after nearly 45 minutes of pursuit.

By 4:30 a.m., another hog appeared, and they made a long stalk. Just as they got into position, the hog disappeared into the woods without offering a shot. Moments like that are what make Guided Hog Hunts in Georgia so unpredictable—you never know if it’ll be easy or if you’ll have to work for every opportunity.

Determined not to give up, Guide Kaleb took the hunters to a field that’s produced pigs right around daybreak before. Sure enough, history repeated itself. At 5:30 a.m., they located a Sounder of Hogs feeding in the field. Using Thermal, we closed the distance, made the stalk, and got one hog clean in the field. Another made it to the trees, but it crossed onto neighboring property where recovery wasn’t possible.

This South Georgia Hog Hunt proved why persistence pays off. Whether chasing single Boars or stalking into a Sounder, every Hog Hunt is a new memory. Guided Thermal Hunts with Hog SWAT are more than just Hunting—they’re about the challenge, the chase, and helping landowners with Feral Hog Control.

Thermal Hog Hunting In Georgia

At Hog SWAT, every Thermal Hunt is different, and this one led by Guide Kaleb proved that persistence and patience make all the difference. This wasn’t like the last few Guided Hog Hunts—it required hard work, determination, and the ability to adapt in the field.

The first field of the night looked promising with a single hog out in the open. Just as the stalk began, a vehicle pulled into the field and spooked the pig, sending it back into cover. From there, the night seemed to shift, and the fields filled mostly with deer. Around 1 a.m., another single hog appeared, but before the hunters could get set up, it slipped away into the night.

As hours passed, the team stayed focused, even when hope started to fade. By 4 a.m., many thought the Boar Hunt was over, but Kaleb wasn’t ready to quit. He knew that hogs often move late, and sure enough, just before 5 a.m., he spotted a pig moving across the field. Some mistook it for a deer, but Kaleb quickly confirmed it was time to gear up.

The stalk took them through tall corn, making visibility tough. Just as the hunters were preparing, the hog closed the distance and came within about 30 yards, locking eyes with the group. There was no time for a long setup—the team acted fast, and with precision, they had success.

The excitement of that moment turned what seemed like a slow night into one packed with adrenaline, teamwork, and a story these hunters will never forget.

Every Georgia Hog Hunt is unique, and this one reminded us that patience in the field is always rewarded. Hog SWAT’s Thermal Hunting Trips are about more than just the pursuit—they’re about the adventure, the strategy, and the memories made along the way.

Huge Boar

This Boar Hunt with Hog SWAT and Guide Kaleb was one for the books. Early in the evening, a Massive Boar was spotted in one of the first fields. After a quick stalk, the father, son, and daughter trio worked together to ensure this Wild Hog didn’t slip away. When the group walked up, it was clear just how impressive this boar was—by far one of the biggest Kaleb has ever put his hands on. For reference, standing next to the hog, one hunter at 5’8” was nearly the same length!

Not long after, the group moved into another field filled with deer. As they waited, another hog entered, giving them the perfect opportunity for a smooth stalk. The result was another Wild Boar on the ground, making the night even more memorable.

When you book a Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT, you never know exactly how the night will unfold—but that’s part of the adventure. Guide Kaleb recently led a group on a Two-Night Thermal Hog Hunting Trip in South Georgia, and both nights delivered excitement, challenges, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Night 1: A Fast Start
The first field set the pace right away with a small Sounder moving across the crops. After a careful stalk, the hunters made quick work of it and put hogs on the ground. Not long after, another sounder appeared in a nearby field. Kaleb knew from experience that these Hogs would circle back, and sure enough, they did. With patience and the advantage of thermal, the team was able to close the distance and add more Wild Hogs to the tally. Between long walks, heavy drags, and sticky mud, the night was both hard work and high reward—everything a Night Hog Hunt in Georgia is supposed to be.

Night 2: The Challenge Continues
The second night brought new challenges but just as much adrenaline. The first field held a group of five hogs, but dozens of deer in the area made the stalk more complicated. A Lone Boar showed up later, requiring a long and careful approach. The cover was tight, and the hog managed to slip away. Later in the evening, another opportunity presented itself, and after a patient stalk the hunters connected—but the hog showed just how tough these animals can be.

Even though night two didn’t bring as many photos, it was packed with action, laughs, and the kind of camaraderie that makes Guided Hog Hunts in South Georgia unforgettable.

Summer Hog Hunts In Georgia

Guide Kaleb led an unforgettable Bachelor Hunt recently. On just the second field of the night, the group spotted a Wild Hog in the back, with a large number of deer between them and their target. They carefully worked their way around most of the deer, but one caught wind and alerted the rest of the field. The Hog became cautious, but the group made a quick move and got into position. Everything came together perfectly. The rest of the night was full of wildlife sightings, including a special moment watching a group of pups—possibly coyotes—play together under the stars. Successful Hog Hunting.

Some Hog Hunts are fast and furious. Others are a grind. This one was the latter—but what a payoff.

Guide Kaleb recently led a 2 Night Thermal Hog Hunt for a Father and Son Hunting Duo that reminded us all why we do this: not just for the Pigs, but for the Hunting Memories made under the stars, the miles walked in the dark, and the satisfaction of earning every chance.

Night 1:

Hope at the Final Hour

The first night started slow. Real slow. Field after field turned up nothing but deer. Spirits began to fade, and by 3:30 a.m., you could feel the discouragement setting in. But Kaleb wasn’t ready to call it. He made one last push, one final sweep of a back field—and at 5:30 a.m., it paid off. A Sounder of Pigs.

They were jittery right from the start. We made a careful stalk, but they weren’t making it easy. Still, Kaleb got the hunters into position. The chance was farther than ideal, but the opportunity wasn’t going to get better. It was now or never. The team connected, and though the Hogs made it to the woods, it was a thrilling way to end an otherwise slow night. The father and son were both Top-Notch Hunters—resilient, positive, and a blast to Wild Hog Hunt with despite the long wait.

Night 2:

From Frustration to Fireworks

Night two came with its own challenges. We had a Sow and her young hanging close to the treeline. Kaleb and the Hog Hunters set up in the field, ready for them to step out. After about 30 minutes, just when it looked like they were going to make a move, a deer blew our cover—literally—and spooked the whole setup.

Later in the night, we spotted a Lone Hog out in the open. It took a long walk and a careful stalk to get in range, with the moon bright and deer watching from every corner. But patience and persistence paid off. The Hunters locked in and made it count.

As the night wound down, we made one last check before calling it. Nothing at first—then a Sounder way off in the distance. The sun was about to rise, so we had to move fast. Kaleb led the final stalk, and it all came together. Both hunters landed solid chances, each re-homing a Wild Hog just before first light. The others escaped into the woods, but the smiles said it all.

We finished the Thermal Hog Hunt under a colorful South Georgia sunrise, swapping stories and laughing about the night’s events. These guys were a joy to guide, and the Guided Hog Hunt reminded us that the best moments often come when you push through the quiet stretches and keep grinding.

A Night to Remember:

Thermal Hog Hunt with Guide Kaleb

Some nights in the Planted Fields are packed with activity from the start. Others build anticipation until just the right moment. On a recent Hog SWAT Thermal Hunt, Guide Kaleb led a group through one of those slow-burn kind of nights—and it turned into an experience worth talking about.

“The night started off slow,” Kaleb said. “There were plenty of laughs and jokes being tossed around, but not much movement out in the fields.”

Even when the action takes its time, our team stays ready. Patience and persistence are key in this game, especially under the South Georgia stars. The team stayed alert, scanning the fields through Thermal, staying sharp despite the quiet.

Then, early in the morning, a single heat signature appeared.

“We spotted a Solo Hog moving through the brush,” Kaleb recalled. “We made a careful stalk—and it did not disappoint.”

That Lone Wild Hog sighting ended up being the only one of the night, but it made the entire evening worth it. Sometimes it just takes one encounter to turn a slow night into an unforgettable one.

At Hog SWAT, every Hog Hunt is different. Whether the action is non-stop or the fields stay quiet until the last hour, our guides work hard to deliver a Hunting Experience you won’t forget. Shoutout to Kaleb for staying sharp and keeping the group engaged—even when the Wild Pigs play hard to get.

First Night Out

A New Chapter Begins with Hog SWAT

Wild Hog Hunting

Photos: Hunting Wild Hogs @HogSWAT

There’s something exciting about a first—First Guided Hunt, first time under the stars with Thermal, or in this case, our newest Guide Caleb’s first night in the field. With experienced Guide Zev leading the way, this 1 Night Hog Hunt was more than just a Hog Hunt—it was the beginning of a new chapter for the Hog SWAT team.

Night Begins with a Success

Right out of the gate, things looked promising. As the van rolled into the very first field, Wild Pigs were already in position. The team quietly got into place, set up quickly, and made the most of the opportunity. Three Pigs were successfully brought in to new homes early in the evening, a great start for any Thermal Hog Hunt—and an awesome first experience for a guide-in-training.

A Quiet Finish and a Great First Step

After that initial success, the night slowed down. The team covered ground, scanned with Thermal Equipment, and stayed sharp, but the rest of the night belonged to deer and a few curious critters. While the action may have tapered off, the experience was anything but dull.

For Caleb, this first Guided Hog Hunt was a chance to see what Hog SWAT is all about—patience, precision, and making every moment in the field count. With Zev showing him the ropes, he’s already on the path to becoming an outstanding Hunting Guide.

More Than Just a Hunt

Every night in the field tells a Hunting Story, and this one marked the start of a new one. We’re proud to have Caleb on board, and we’re looking forward to many more successful nights with him leading the charge.

Want to see what the night brings? Join us at Hog SWAT and book your Thermal Hog Hunting Trip today—you never know what kind of story you’ll take home.
