And, as fate would have it, his persistence paid off around 4am.

The group stumbled upon a Group of Hogs, and the Hunt was on! With precision and skill, they managed to take down two Wild Hogs, and then things got even more exciting. As they returned to their fallen mother, Guide Hank spotted two more Wild Hogs making their way back to claim their dead kin. The bonus round was on, and the group took down two more hogs, capping off an incredible night of Hunting.

The summer is here, and the guides for Hog SWAT and Pig Problem are trading in their Hunting gear for Fishing Rods. Every year, they embark on a Thrilling Fishing Adventure to Homer, Alaska, where they Fishing Charter Boats and indulge in the region's renowned Fishing. This year is no exception, and we're excited to see what the summer season holds for our team in Alaska.

Guide Capt Clayton will be taking the helm for the first time, and we're thrilled to see him grow into his new role. Guide Capt Max will be Captaining his own boat, while Guide Capt Ben will be returning to his Captain duties for the second time around. Meanwhile, Guide Hank is shaking things up by trying out a new role as a Deckhand! It'll be interesting to see how he adapts to this new position.

Hog SWAT's Nighttime Hunt: A Test of Persistence

Guide Hank led a Thrilling 1 Night Hog Hunt for Hog SWAT, but it wasn't without its challenges. Despite the obstacles, Guide Hank's expertise and determination ultimately paid off.

The Hunt began with a promising Sighting of Pigs in a field just off the main road, but just as they were getting into position, a side-by-side came barreling down the road, making a ruckus and sending the Wild Pigs Scattering. Undeterred, Guide Hank regrouped his team and pressed on.

Later in the night, a thick fog rolled in, making it difficult to spot any more Hogs. But Guide Hank's experience and knowledge of the terrain eventually led him to a new group of Wild Hogs. However, they were stuck behind a pivot, limiting their shooting options to just one shot.

With precision and skill, the Hunters took aim and fired true, bringing down one impressive hog. Despite the setbacks and challenges, Guide Hank's persistence and expertise ultimately secured a Successful Hunt. As he reflected on the night's events, Guide Hank concluded: "It was a great success!"

After a patient wait, the group finally got on a group of Pigs around 3:30 am, marking a significant breakthrough in the Hunt. With precision and skill, they secured their first Wild Hog, making it a momentous occasion for both Grandpa and grandson. The successful kill was a testament to their determination and teamwork.

Despite not providing many details about the Thermal Hog Hunt, Ben did reveal that they were able to drop a total of six Wild Hogs throughout the night. Hank recalls spotting Pigs on the second field, only for them to quickly disappear into tall brush, making it difficult to track their movements. Undeterred, the group pressed on and ventured further into the field, but unfortunately, they did not come across any more Wild Pigs.

As the group was preparing to leave the field, the Hogs unexpectedly reappeared, giving them another chance to make a move. Hank and the Hunters swiftly approached the Wild Hog, taking their shot and successfully bringing down a good Boar. The group was thrilled with their kill, especially as they were able to take home a prized skull from the Hunt.

Although they only managed to get one Pig that night, the Hog Hunt was still considered a great success by Guide Hank and the rest of the group. The thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of a successful kill made the Boar Hunt an unforgettable experience for all involved. With his expert guidance, the group successfully took down three of the Pigs, making for a productive and exciting Hunting experience. Overall, it was a Successful Night of Hunting with Guide Capt Ben leading the way and the group thoroughly enjoying their time in the field.

Last night, Guide Capt Ben led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for Hog SWAT. The team was eager to Take Down Some Wild Hogs, and Ben was determined to deliver a Successful Hunt. As they ventured out into the darkness of the night, the anticipation and excitement were palpable.

After some Tracking and Scouting, they finally came across a Massive Sounder of over 25 Pigs. The team quickly got into position and took their shots, managing to take down one of the Large Boars. It was a Thrilling Hunt, with the team celebrating their victory.

But the excitement didn't stop there. As they were making their way back to base camp, they came across an unsuspecting Armadillo. With a round of cheers and laughter, the team decided to have some fun and explode the armadillo, adding an unexpected twist to an already eventful night.

Overall, it was a night to remember for the Hog SWAT Team, filled with Adrenaline-Pumping Hunting Action and camaraderie. Guide Capt Ben had once again proven his expertise and skill, leading the team to a Successful Hunting Trip under the starlit sky.

Despite the slightly unpleasant surroundings, the group remained undeterred and focused on the task at hand. As night fell on the second evening, the Hunters encountered another Hog, albeit a small and unfortunate one with a peculiar appearance. Guide Hank led a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and the group embarked on two eventful nights of Hunting at Hog SWAT.

On the first night, they managed to take down 3 Big Bo Big Boars, all shot in the same group. The Successful Hunt resulted in a substantial amount of meat for the group, and everyone celebrated the great success of the evening.

The second night began with the group spotting a Solo Boar on the second field they visited. Despite getting a shot off, the Wild Boar was elusive and slipped away into the tall grass. However, their luck turned around later in the night when they encountered a Massive Boar weighing over 250 lbs. The Hunters successfully took down the Trophy Boar, choosing to preserve its head for a euro mount.

Guide Hank was delighted with the outcome of both nights, as the group experienced Thrilling Hunts and secured valuable trophies. Reflecting on the successful 2-Night Hunting Adventure, Hank looked forward to leading more Exciting Hunts in the future at Hog Swat.

They successfully located a Sounder of 15-20 Pigs and proceeded with a 400-Yard Stalk to get closer to their targets. Setting up for the Hunt, they took their shots and managed to nail 2 Large Pigs with the initial volley, as well as dropping 2 Piglets in the field. Despite their early successes, the group did not encounter any more Hogs after that.
