Guide Kaleb recently took a father and his two sons out for a Thermal Hog Hunt that started off slow, with little movement early on. Around 1 a.m., deer began to stir, but the Pigs stayed hidden. The group stayed focused and kept working the fields.

One of their last stops was a freshly cut field. After waiting patiently near a pivot, a lone sow finally stepped out under the moonlight. With deer all around, the stalk had to be slow and quiet—but the team moved perfectly.

At about 150 yards out, they got set up and made it happen. A quiet night turned into a successful one, and a great memory was made in the process.

There’s nothing better than making memories under the stars — and this recent Family Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT was one to remember. Guide Kaleb brought his dad and girlfriend along for a night of Crop Protection and Wild Hog Hunting, and the result was a peaceful, successful outing in the fields of South Georgia.

With patience, teamwork, and the help of Thermal, the crew was able to quietly close the distance on a pair of Wild Hogs. The end result? See for yourself. An unforgettable night of Thermal Hog Hunting shared with family.

At Hog SWAT, we believe Guided Hog Hunts are about more than just the outcome — they’re about moments like these.

Guide Kaleb led an unforgettable Bachelor Hunt recently. On just the second field of the night, the group spotted a Wild Hog in the back, with a large number of deer between them and their target. They carefully worked their way around most of the deer, but one caught wind and alerted the rest of the field. The Hog became cautious, but the group made a quick move and got into position. Everything came together perfectly. The rest of the night was full of wildlife sightings, including a special moment watching a group of pups—possibly coyotes—play together under the stars. Successful Hog Hunting.
