Guide Hank led a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and the group embarked on two eventful nights of Hunting at Hog SWAT.

On the first night, they managed to take down 3 Big Bo Big Boars, all shot in the same group. The Successful Hunt resulted in a substantial amount of meat for the group, and everyone celebrated the great success of the evening.

The second night began with the group spotting a Solo Boar on the second field they visited. Despite getting a shot off, the Wild Boar was elusive and slipped away into the tall grass. However, their luck turned around later in the night when they encountered a Massive Boar weighing over 250 lbs. The Hunters successfully took down the Trophy Boar, choosing to preserve its head for a euro mount.

Guide Hank was delighted with the outcome of both nights, as the group experienced Thrilling Hunts and secured valuable trophies. Reflecting on the successful 2-Night Hunting Adventure, Hank looked forward to leading more Exciting Hunts in the future at Hog Swat.

One of them must have been related to Hogzilla because she was huge," he wrote. After initially having no luck in the first couple of fields, the group finally got on a Sounder and successfully took down 2 Sows, resulting in a nice haul of meat. Guide Hank expressed his satisfaction with the great success of the Hunt and the thrill of the experience with the group at Hog SWAT. This Little Piggy Didn't Make It Home

Guide Hank embarked on a 1 Night Hog Hunt with this group at Hog SWAT . Early in the evening, they spotted a Pig, skittish and alert, which led them on a lengthy chase across the field. Despite their efforts to close in for a shot, the Elusive Pig managed to escape, sparing its life. The night continued with the group diligently searching various fields, but luck wasn't on their side until around 4 AM when they entered a field and successfully took a shot, resulting in One Hog Down. The night was long and arduous, yet it culminated in another commendable triumph.

Family Boar Hunting

It was a long night Searching for Hogs as Guide Capt Max navigated the properties in search of the Elusive Animals. They came across a few on the neighboring properties that were not part of Hog SWAT’s Hunting Grounds, making it impossible to take a shot. Additionally, one of the Hog Hunting vans was down, so they had to make do with a rental 4x4 for the Hunt, adding a touch of uniqueness to the experience. Despite these challenges, they covered a significant amount of ground and eventually came across a Single Boar, marking a successful end to the Hunt.

A Muddy Night!

Photo: Georgia Clay Gets Messy @HogSWAT

Guide Capt Ben took Don and Timothy on a Wild Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT. The night began with the trio checking fields for Wild Hogs, eventually spotting 4 Pigs on their second field. Despite sinking into the saturated Georgia Clay up to their ankles, they stalked towards a high point to set up. With a countdown from the guide, they took down two of the Hogs and watched them to ensure they weren't playing possum. On the trek back to the van, they learned the hard way just how deep the clay could be, with Don taking a tumble and the group ending up covered in mud. After returning to town for fresh gear and zeroing their backup rifles, they headed back out for more Hunting. Although they encountered some Wild Pigs who quickly retreated, the experience was certainly a memorable one for all involved. A true adventure in the Georgia Wilderness.

The Jersey Devil's Take On Wild Hogs

Photo Night 1: Solo Wild Hog @HogSWAT

Photo Night 1: It’s Play Time Kids @HogSWAT

Photo Night 2: Don’t Make A Deal With The Jersey Devils @HogSWAT

Guide Hank said these Jersey devils were hungry for Hog Meat so they took a Hunting Trip to Georgia where they could slay some Hogs with us. The first field they pulled into was empty, so they moved on to the next field where they found a Solo Hog and were able to take it down. The next few fields they checked were also empty, but on their last stop of the night they circled back to the first field they had looked at and found a Sounder of 20+ Pigs.

It wasn't a question of whether there were Pigs in a field, but rather when they would show up. The group Stalked the Pigs as they moved through the field, getting closer as they grew more comfortable. However, one of the Wild Pigs started approaching them, causing the rest of the Sounder to follow. The Jersey devils quickly set up their gear and were able to take down 3 Pigs before the others ran off the field.

Jersey Devils seem to have gotten their fill on Bacon because they only got one Piggy on night 2. Running around all night looking for the Wild Pigs with one briefly spotted before it disappeared. Word must’ve got out that the devils were in town because they were all hiding. At 3am a sharp Hog was spotted so we pulled out a death warrant and had the Wild Hog sign it in exchange for some peanuts. Naturally the hog got shot and died. Didn’t anyone teach that pig you don’t make deals with the devil?

2 PIG PILES 1 NIGHT

Photo: Hog Galore @HogSWAT

Photo: 2nd Pig Pile!! @HogSWAT

Guide Hank had some lethal company tonight. The first field they pulled into had Pigs and heavy rain. They shot and killed 6 Wild Pigs, with some on the run. Hank thought what they did was pretty awesome, so they decided to do it again. The second field they entered had a Sounder at the tree line. Approaching the Hogs with perfect wind, the group showed Hank that 6 wasn't just a fluke because they did it again, killing 6 more for a total of 12 Wild Hogs! These guys know how to have a good time and shoot with accuracy.

They checked several more fields to try and add to the number, but Guide Hank thinks the Hogs could sense these guys were nearby and made sure to stay clear of the Lethal Shooters. It was a great night of Hunting with these guys.

Hunting Wild Hogs

Photo: Shhhh, He’s Sleeping! @HogSWAT

Photo: Hogs Down @HogSWAT

They struggled to find Pigs the first 4 hours of the Hunt, checking multiple fields. They finally pulled into a field where they spotted 2 Hogs. They started walking towards the Wild Hogs and found a Sounder past a high spot. They were able to maneuver around the other Wild Pigs and get close enough to shoot at the group. The guys killed 3 pigs! On the way off the field there was another pig minding his own business so they dropped the bags of meat they just butchered, and walked right up to the Solo Pig and took it down with the cadence shot. They totaled 4 pigs for the night!

The Pro Hog Hunters

These guys took down 4 Pigs and a Coyote. These 4 guys can crack jokes all night and still Slay Wild Hogs. They didn’t see any Wild Pigs on the 2nd field we checked, but had the opportunity to shoot a coyote, and they nailed him. Found a Sounder on the second field 4th field they checked. They set up and was able to take down 2 Wild Hogs. After that they dropped in on a nearby field, and snuck right up on a nice sized Solo Boar and ended him with the first shot. After they dragged the Wild Boar off the field they circled back and checked the same field they took down the first 2, and there were more pigs in the same spot! They pulled in once more to shoot a ton of Hogs but were only able to secure one more. I’m sure others died shortly after in the tree line. They have more slaughtering to do tomorrow night!

These individuals had a stroke of luck! In their first field, they encountered a group of around 10 Young Pigs. With careful Stalking, they managed to take a shot and successfully dropped one Hog. Determined not to repeat their previous experience, they moved on. In the next field, they stumbled upon a Massive Sounder of over 40 Hogs of various sizes. Despite challenging conditions with tricky winds and bright moonlight, they skillfully approached within 70 yards before opening fire. The Pigs took an unexpected path through the field, giving them ample time to shoot, resulting in them bringing down an additional 9 Wild Pigs. It was an Exhilarating Hunting Experience! They ended up with an impressive yield of 2.5 gallons of Back Straps, along with several bags filled with choice hams and shoulders. It was truly a Memorable Hunting Adventure!

Embarking on an Hunting Expedition guided by the seasoned Captain Ben, this group embarked on a short drive to the first field. With great precision, they located a Sounder of 11 Majestic Pigs, standing proudly before them. Exhibiting their skills, they quietly closed in on the Wild Hogs, ensuring their position for the perfect shot. The first Boar, belonging to Dylan, fell instantly, its comrades soon joining the fallen by Bill. The stunning array of sizes, from bite-sized to the grandest of Swine, filled us with a sense of accomplishment as we prepared to embark on the Butchering process, savoring the prospect of indulging in Fine-Quality Meat.

Eager to continue their Hunting odyssey, they ventured towards the next field, unaware of the challenges that awaited them. The Stalking proved rigorous, spanning a remarkable distance of approximately 800 yards, as the Wild Pig sought refuge within a concealed trench. Determined, we persevered, maintaining our pursuit until we could discern the silhouette of the elusive creature's back, mere fifty yards away. With bated breath, our anticipation peaked upon discovering the vulnerable vital region just ten yards further. And then, with a resounding bang, yet another Hog succumbed to our Skilled Marksmanship. The Muddy Hogs

After overcoming a few slight delays, we ventured towards our swampy fields in eager anticipation of the Hunt. With utmost caution, we cautiously traversed the field and were thrilled to spot numerous Deer on our Thermals. However, our persistence paid off when we discovered a small Sounder nestled deep within the sorghum, hidden in a low spot.

Undeterred by the challenging conditions, which included traversing 750 yards of muddy terrain and navigating through noisy cut sorghum, we valiantly pursued our quarry. Skillfully setting up our Hunting Tripods in complete silence, we took aim at a magnificent Sow and her brood. The tension mounted as we counted down, "3, 2, BANG!" Suddenly, the Pigs darted away in a bewildering display of erratic movement, seemingly unsure of their destination.

With our prized catches secured, we remained alert and vigilant throughout our journey. Just as we were about to depart, fate smiled upon us, revealing a magnificent 200 lb Boar boasting menacing 2-inch Tusks. Torn between charging us or making a mad dash towards the tree line, the Boar hesitated, spinning in circles as we took aim. It was a decisive moment, and we made the daunting choice for him, swiftly ending his existence in the muddy ground.

In the end, our expedition proved to be an Unforgettable Boar Encounter filled with exhilarating moments. The thrill of the hunt was complemented by the delectable meats harvested, providing a truly Unique Hunting Adventure that will forever be etched in our memories. Experience the thrill of a Thermal Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT with Guide Luke (Hank). On his recent expedition, he took these guys out on thier second Night of Hunting and they encountered a Handicapped Pig that they named peg leg, with a missing Hoof. Determined to turn his tripod stance into a bipod, they successfully took down peg leg.

But the excitement didn't end there. They spotted a Sounder of Pigs in a challenging location, just in front of a valuable pivot. With the risk of a costly mistake, they managed to fire some shots, hitting the Wild Hogs before they crossed over to the pivots, yet unfortunately, they managed to escape the field.

Afterwards, they cruised around Plains, GA until we stumbled upon a Massive Boar, weighing around 250-300lbs.
