1 Night Boar Hunts

Guide Hank recently led a Wild Hog Hunt for Hog SWAT, where the group encountered some challenges but ultimately achieved success. Hank recalls spotting Pigs on the second field, only for them to quickly disappear into tall brush, making it difficult to track their movements. Undeterred, the group pressed on and ventured further into the field, but unfortunately, they did not come across any more Wild Pigs.

As the group was preparing to leave the field, the Hogs unexpectedly reappeared, giving them another chance to make a move. Hank and the Hunters swiftly approached the Wild Hog, taking their shot and successfully bringing down a good Boar. The group was thrilled with their kill, especially as they were able to take home a prized skull from the Hunt.

Although they only managed to get one Pig that night, the Hog Hunt was still considered a great success by Guide Hank and the rest of the group. The thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of a successful kill made the Boar Hunt an unforgettable experience for all involved. Last night, Guide Capt Ben led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for the Hog SWAT team that was filled with unexpected twists and turns. As they set out into the rugged terrain, the team found themselves driving around in circles, trying to track down the elusive wild hogs. The frustration was mounting as they seemed to be going in circles and coming up empty-handed.

But just when it seemed like luck was not on their side, the Pig Gods must have taken pity on them. Suddenly, a Group of Pigs popped out from the bushes, catching the team by surprise. With adrenaline pumping, they quickly got into position and took their shots. Despite the initial struggles, the team managed to drop 4 out of the 10 Hogs they shot at, a decent success rate for the night.

Guide Capt Ben's expertise and determination had paid off once again, leading the team to a Successful Hunt despite the initial setbacks. It was a night filled with excitement, challenges, and ultimately, triumph. The Hog SWAT team had proven once again that with perseverance and a bit of luck, they could overcome any obstacle in their path.

Guide Hank led a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and the group embarked on two eventful nights of Hunting at Hog SWAT.

On the first night, they managed to take down 3 Big Bo Big Boars, all shot in the same group. The Successful Hunt resulted in a substantial amount of meat for the group, and everyone celebrated the great success of the evening.

The second night began with the group spotting a Solo Boar on the second field they visited. Despite getting a shot off, the Wild Boar was elusive and slipped away into the tall grass. However, their luck turned around later in the night when they encountered a Massive Boar weighing over 250 lbs. The Hunters successfully took down the Trophy Boar, choosing to preserve its head for a euro mount.

Guide Hank was delighted with the outcome of both nights, as the group experienced Thrilling Hunts and secured valuable trophies. Reflecting on the successful 2-Night Hunting Adventure, Hank looked forward to leading more Exciting Hunts in the future at Hog Swat.

Last night's 1 Night Hog Hunt led by Guide Capt. Ben turned out to be a thrilling success! Venturing under the cover of darkness, our skilled Guide and his group encountered a pack of hefty boars. With precision and teamwork, they managed to harvest three big boars from the same group. The bounty was generous, providing a substantial amount of meat and marking the night as a triumphant outing. The excitement was palpable as each member of the party contributed to the successful hunt. It's experiences like these that make hunting with Guide Capt. Ben unforgettable.

Guide Hank led a group that came to Hog SWAT for a 1 Night Guided Hog Hunt, and he shared the exciting experiencet. "2 pigs down tonight. One of them must have been related to Hogzilla because she was huge," he wrote. After initially having no luck in the first couple of fields, the group finally got on a Sounder and successfully took down 2 Sows, resulting in a nice haul of meat. Guide Capt Ben led a 1 Night Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT and embarked on an Exciting Hunting Adventure in the northwest of Plains, Ga. They successfully located a Sounder of 15-20 Pigs and proceeded with a 400-Yard Stalk to get closer to their targets. Setting up for the Hunt, they took their shots and managed to nail 2 Large Pigs with the initial volley, as well as dropping 2 Piglets in the field. Despite their early successes, the group did not encounter any more Hogs after that. The night was filled with action and Skillful Hunting, showcasing Guide Capt Ben's expertise in leading Successful Hog Hunts with Hog Swat.

Hunting Wild Hogs Can Be A Challenge

Guide Hank took some customers on a 2 Night Hog Hunt that he led for HogSWAT, highlighting the challenges and successes of the experience in the field.

Night 1 brought an unexpected encounter with a group of Small Piglets in the middle of the field, illuminated by the moon. Despite the opportunity for a shot at a Larger Hog, the nervous behavior of an Older Hog prevented them from taking the shot from a distance of 350 yards. Determined to make it count, Guide Hank planned to try again on the following night.

Night 2 proved to be more successful as they managed to take shots at Pigs twice during the Hunt. Although no pictures were taken, the feedback from the Hunters was positive, expressing their enjoyment and interest in returning for future Hunts. Guide Hank's determination and perseverance paid off, leading to a rewarding Hunting Experience for all involved.

Night 1 started off slow but ended with a bang as they located 3 Wild Hogs in a low spot rooting the field. After a successful Wild Hog Stalk, they were able to get within 70 yards and set up for the Hunt. Focusing on the Largest Hog, a laden Sow, they made a precise shot and collected some back straps before moving deeper into the field. Encountering another Hog Eating Peanuts, a well-executed stalk led to the successful takedown of 2 Hogs, showcasing the great shooting skills of the Hunters.

Night 2 began with a slow tempo, but after scanning multiple fields, they spotted and Harvested an Armadillo before moving on to a larger field where they saw 5 Pigs. Despite the Wild Pigs initially moving into the woods, a Lone Boar emerged, requiring a precise shot at 198 yards under moonlit conditions. The Successful Hunt continued as they encountered a Massive Boar on a dairy field, being targeted by other wildlife. From a remarkable distance of 375 yards, they sent a clear message to the Pig about the consequences of stealing seed. The night ended on a high note, with great shooting and Unforgettable Hunting Experiences.

Guide Hank led a 1-Night Thermal Hog Hunt with fantastic results. As the night progressed, around 3:30 am, they spotted their first Pig of the night. The Hog was found roaming near the field entrance, providing the perfect opportunity for the Hunters to make their move. With precision and skill, they approached the Wild Hog and fired off two shots, successfully taking down the Wild Pig. It was a great success for the team led by Guide Hank, highlighting their expertise in the art of Hog Hunting.

It was a long night Searching for Hogs as Guide Capt Max navigated the properties in search of the Elusive Animals. They came across a few on the neighboring properties that were not part of Hog SWAT’s Hunting Grounds, making it impossible to take a shot. Additionally, one of the Hog Hunting vans was down, so they had to make do with a rental 4x4 for the Hunt, adding a touch of uniqueness to the experience. Despite these challenges, they covered a significant amount of ground and eventually came across a Single Boar, marking a successful end to the Hunt.

Night 1 was a bit challenging as it took some time to locate the Hogs, but they eventually found a Sounder in a field of Winter Wheat. Despite having to shoot from a distance of almost 200 yards, they managed to take down the Largest Hog in the group, which turned out to be a Sow. They collected some quality fatty meat from the Wild Hog and enjoyed the experience.

On Night 2, the Hunt kicked off with excitement as they quickly found Hogs in the first field. Despite unfavorable wind conditions, they were able to navigate within about 100 yards of the Wild Pigs. With skill and finesse, they shot and successfully brought down a battle scarred Sow. Moving on to another field, they encountered a pair of Wild Boars causing havoc in fresh cut winter wheat. Quietly maneuvering along the tree line, they positioned themselves close to the Boars as they emerged from the trees into the field. With the wind in their favor, they took their shots and managed to drop a nice Wild Boar. The stalks were thrilling, the shots were precise, and overall, it was a night filled with great experiences and Successful Hunts.

However, things picked up when they came across two Sounders In A Field. As they approached the first Sounder, the Pigs quickly retreated into the trees, making it difficult to get a clear shot. Moving on to the Second Sounder on the other side of the field, they were able to get within 120 yards of the Wild Pigs and successfully took down three, one of which was a Large Pig weighing over 200 pounds. The group managed to gather a good amount of meat and some impressive Boar Tusks from the Hunt. Overall, everyone enjoyed the night and had a successful Hunting Trip.

Hog Hunting in South Georgia is incredibly important due to the destruction these animals cause. Just one Hog can cause significant Damage to Crops and land in a short amount of time. In fact, during our Hunt, we captured a photo of the damage that a single hog caused in just 10 minutes, which we have included on our website to showcase the impact.

On the first night of the Hunting Trip, despite taking a shot at a pig from 70 yards away positioned 10 feet from the treeline, unfortunately, it managed to escape off the field. The night was slow, and there were no other shot opportunities.

The second night was not much better, with limited sightings and missed shots. Despite the challenges, they remained focused on the mission to Control The Hog Population In South Georgia. With their destructive nature, it is crucial to continue Hunting these animals to protect the environment and agriculture in the region.

Guide Hank led a 2 Night Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT, with an eventful Night 1 filled with excitement and success. The evening started off with a Guide Hank’s personal Record-Breaking Hunt, as a total of 13 Wild Hogs were taken down much to the delight of the two Hunters. The night began with a fruitful hunt on the first field, where 4 Wild Pigs were dropped with multiple shots. After a brief lull on the next field, the group unexpectedly encountered a Sounder of Pigs while on the lookout for a Coyote. Opting to target the Pigs instead, they successfully shot 2 more.

As the Hunters celebrated their kills and took photos, Guide Hank heard a strange noise in the distance, prompting him to turn off the lights. This led to a surprising opportunity as Piglets from the earlier deceased mother returned to the field, allowing for a quick and efficient takedown of 8 more piglets, tying his personal record of 12. To everyone's amazement, a 13th piglet was spotted on Thermal Imaging, hidden in a hole and barely visible. With this unexpected addition, the night concluded on a high note of success and accomplishment.

Unfortunately, Night 2 did not bring the same level of excitement as no sightings were made, leading the group to head back around 4:30am. Despite the quiet evening, the Hunters were grateful for the action-packed experience of the previous night, showcasing their skill and determination in the Hunt. Guide Hank led a memorable and eventful Hog Hunt, with both highs and lows but ultimately leaving a lasting impression on all involved.

Guide Capt Ben recently led a Group Of Hunters on a 2 Night Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT. On the first night, they encountered their first Hog on the second field, a Wild Boar located about 200 yards into the field. After a Successful Stalk, the Hunters set up and were able to bring down the Wild Boar with just one volley of shots, showcasing their excellent shooting skills. Later in the evening, they found a Sounder Of Hogs hiding in the tree line, necessitating precision shots to avoid any collateral damage. After patiently waiting for a Sow to enter the field, they were able to take their shot and successfully dropped two Pigs, ending the night on a high note.

The second night brought its own challenges and adventures, starting with a Lone Boar in their first field. Despite having to take their shots from a long distance due to limited moonlight, they managed to catch the Boar before it ran off bleeding. Moving on to another field, they scouted a Large Sounder of Hogs hiding in the trees. While waiting for them to emerge, the Hogs remained elusive. However, they soon located another Sounder and decided to merge the two groups, with each Hunter taking their shot on the Hogs together. After some field checks, the night concluded with a Successful Hunt and memories to last a lifetime.

Guide Capt Ben led a group on a 2 Night Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT. Following a slow hunt the previous night, the group decided to venture into the Swamps for some stick and stay action. Luck was on their side as they didn't have to wait long to encounter their first Pig. With a short stalk, they successfully took down a Boar and moved on, trophy in hand.

Their next encounter was a bit more eventful, with the Wild Hog dodging bullets and disappearing into the brush after being shot. Despite this challenge, the group spotted a Small Sounder and attempted a Stalk, only to have their plans disrupted by a group of deer spooking the Sow. Though the Hunt had its ups and downs, Capt Ben and the group enjoyed the adventure and camaraderie, making lasting memories in The Great Outdoors. Good times indeed at Hog SWAT.

Disappointed but undeterred, they moved towards another field closer to Americus, Ga, where a Group of Pigs was spotted spread out. With a steady approach, the Hunters were able to take down 2 Pigs from a distance of 80 yards, achieving great success in the Hunt. A thrilling experience in the heart of Georgia's Wilderness.

Guide Hank led a 1 Night Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT. The night started off slow until about 2am when some Pigs were spotted in a tricky spot. A gunshot went off in the distance, causing the Wild Pigs to move from the ideal angle for a shot. The Hogs unknowingly moved closer to the Hunters, coming within 20-30 yards. They quickly noticed the Hunters and ran off before any shots could be taken. Despite their quick escape, no Piggies were taken down this time.

Hank then led the group to the next best field, where a huge sounder of pigs was on the move. The Hunters followed closely, trying to get into position. One Wild Hog curiously approached the them, and they swiftly took aim and dropped it with a single shot each. The rest of the pigs narrowly escaped with their lives.

It was a night of Great Hunting, with Skilled Hunters and a successful outcome. Hank's guidance and the hunters' sharp shooting led to a memorable and Successful Hunt.
