With precision and skill, they secured their first Wild Hog, making it a momentous occasion for both Grandpa and grandson. The successful kill was a testament to their determination and teamwork.

Guide Hank's post-hunt summary reflects his enthusiasm and satisfaction with the outcome: "It was a great success as usual!" This sentiment echoes the sense of accomplishment and joy shared by the grandfather and grandson duo.

1 Night Hog Hunt

Last night's 1 Night Hog Hunt led by Guide Capt. Ben turned out to be a thrilling success! Venturing under the cover of darkness, our skilled Guide and his group encountered a pack of hefty boars. With precision and teamwork, they managed to harvest three big boars from the same group. The bounty was generous, providing a substantial amount of meat and marking the night as a triumphant outing. The excitement was palpable as each member of the party contributed to the successful hunt. It's experiences like these that make hunting with Guide Capt. Ben unforgettable.

Hunting In The Dark

On the first night of Hog Hunting in March for Hog SWAT led by Guide Capt Ben, a group of guys embarked on a Wild Hog Hunt in South Georgia. Despite a slow start to the evening, the team remained optimistic throughout the Hunt.

Setting up on six Hogs, they were only able to hit two Wild Hogs. However, Guide Capt Ben and the group persevered, checking various fields until they were exhausted. What started as a dull evening turned out to be a memorable experience for the Hunters, who demonstrated determination and teamwork in the face of unexpected challenges. Here's to more exciting and Successful Hunts with Guide Capt Ben at the helm of Hog SWAT.

The first field held a couple of nice-sized Boars. The Stalk was muddy and wet, but fortunately, the rain had given way. They closed to about 60 yards when we set up and fired a volley. Nailed ‘em! That was the easy part. Afterward, they dragged our pigs about 400 yards through the mud until they could finally hitch them to the Hog Van and get them to the Hog dump. Then proceeded onto a few more fields and didn’t find much luck. Eventually, at a large peanut field, they found 6 Smaller Pigs; however, the wind switched up on them and they got spooked. They headed down the road a bit and immediately saw about 20 Wild Pigs in a Large Sounder. As they got close, it became apparent that there were more like 50+ Hogs in a Mega Sounder! These Pigs had no idea what was coming, and we fed them lead. After the dust settled, our Hunters got exactly what they wanted: 8 Suckling Pigs for a total of 10 downed throughout the night!

Experience the thrill of a Thermal Hog Hunt at Hog SWAT with Guide Luke (Hank). On his recent expedition, he took these guys out on thier second Night of Hunting and they encountered a Handicapped Pig that they named peg leg, with a missing Hoof. Determined to turn his tripod stance into a bipod, they successfully took down peg leg.

But the excitement didn't end there. They spotted a Sounder of Pigs in a challenging location, just in front of a valuable pivot. With the risk of a costly mistake, they managed to fire some shots, hitting the Wild Hogs before they crossed over to the pivots, yet unfortunately, they managed to escape the field.

Nevertheless, it was a satisfying conclusion to the Second Night of Hunting for these Skilled Hunters. Don't miss out on your chance to join in on the action. Book your Wild Hog Hunt today and experience the Hunting Adrenaline Rush for yourself.

James and Gabriel are highly skilled and certified Hog Snipers, and their expertise was on full display during their Hog Hunt. Taking advantage of the bright moon behind them, they managed to sneak up on a Wild Pig and successfully shot it from a remarkable distance of over 200 yards. Their precise aim resulted in an immediate kill, dropping the Pig right in its tracks.

Unfortunately, they faced some challenges in locating more Hogs afterward. They did, however, have the opportunity to take shots at a fast-moving Coyote, though it was difficult to confirm a kill due to its speed. Shortly after, they encountered another Hog that managed to escape into the brush before James and Gabriel could take it down. However, there is no doubt that if the Wild Hog had stayed still, they would have shot it with precision.

In the end, they celebrated the one remarkable Long-Range Kill achieved by James and Gabriel. Guide Luke expressed his enthusiasm for Hunting with them, describing it as an awesome night, and hopes to have the opportunity to guide their Hunt again in the future. They also purchased their Hog Hunting Video, we can’t wait to see that incredable shot.

If you possess the skills to make a 200-Yard Shot or are looking to improve your Hunting abilities, we invite you to book a Hog Hunt with Hog SWATtoday. Join us for an incredible Hunting Experience that will put your marksmanship to the test. (we normally take shots 50-100 yards away).

Thermal Hog Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Tim’s Last Night Hog Hunting @HogSWAT

Photo: Guided Thermal Hunting @HogSWAT

Tim's final Hog Hunt with Hog SWAT ended on a successful note. The first field they went to had bad wind conditions, so they decided to wait in the warm van and let the Pigs move into a more favorable position. However, their plans were foiled when a dog chased the Wild Pigs away from the field. Frustrated with the situation, they moved on to another field where a Sounder (a group of Hogs) was causing damage to a dairy pasture. With well-placed shots, they were able to take down two Wild Hogs instantly, leading to some good times and a Successful Hunt. Book a Wild Hog Hunt today!

However, one of the Boars became agitated after sustaining a shot to the mouth and made the bold decision to charge at Guide Ben and Tim. We had another amazing Thermal Hog Hunt last night at Hog SWAT! Guide Luke (Hank) took Keegan the Gangster Hog Slayer and he brought his custom .308. Keegan flipped the first Hog on the run (solo) and right after setting it up for pictures, 2 more Wild Pigs had a death wish and emerged from the trees. Keegan lined them up and nailed both of them with one shot. Crazy!! The Wild Hog in the back started to limp away and Keegan finished it off by blowing its brains out. That was a zombie pig (brown and black) 100%. It did not want to die. Even after butchering it the Pig was still twitching. Overall Great Hog Hunt with Keegan. It was a great night for Hog SWAT! Rob and Jamie, a skilled Hunting Couple, successfully bagged two Wild Boars tonight. That’s what we call South Georgia’s finest Boar Hunting. The first one, a Black-colored Boar, was dispatched by Rob's expert marksmanship. He delivered a lethal blow, which he calls the "Texas Heart Shot," by shooting the animal up the anus and hitting its heart. The second boar was equally challenging as it walked within 50 yards of them in a semi-circular motion without detecting their presence. The couple took down the second boar towards the end of the night, adding two more impressive trophies to their collection. They plan to extract the skulls from these prized specimens. Book a Wild Hog Hunt with us today, whether you come for the skull, meat, or just fun. We have it all.
