Last night, Guide Capt Ben led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for the Hog SWAT team that was filled with unexpected twists and turns. As they set out into the rugged terrain, the team found themselves driving around in circles, trying to track down the elusive wild hogs. The frustration was mounting as they seemed to be going in circles and coming up empty-handed.

But just when it seemed like luck was not on their side, the Pig Gods must have taken pity on them. Suddenly, a Group of Pigs popped out from the bushes, catching the team by surprise. With adrenaline pumping, they quickly got into position and took their shots. Despite the initial struggles, the team managed to drop 4 out of the 10 Hogs they shot at, a decent success rate for the night.

Guide Capt Ben's expertise and determination had paid off once again, leading the team to a Successful Hunt despite the initial setbacks. It was a night filled with excitement, challenges, and ultimately, triumph. The Hog SWAT team had proven once again that with perseverance and a bit of luck, they could overcome any obstacle in their path.

They struggled to find Pigs the first 4 hours of the Hunt, checking multiple fields. They finally pulled into a field where they spotted 2 Hogs. They started walking towards the Wild Hogs and found a Sounder past a high spot. They were able to maneuver around the other Wild Pigs and get close enough to shoot at the group. The guys killed 3 pigs! On the way off the field there was another pig minding his own business so they dropped the bags of meat they just butchered, and walked right up to the Solo Pig and took it down with the cadence shot. They totaled 4 pigs for the night!

Chad the Lone Shooter tonight had a plan for 2 people but the other guy couldn’t make it. That doesn't matter because Chad is a Hog Slayer, they got on Pigs the first field we went to a Chad dropped a nice Sow and got the meat off it. They didn’t have too much luck the rest of the night but I know if Chad had another chance to shoot he wouldn’t have let a single Hog escape his sights. We hope Chad comes back to Hog SWAT for round two. We all wanna see his skills put to the test of a Sounder Of Hogs.

In total, John, Alex, and Bradley killed 10 Wild Hogs!. However, if you count the one that died in the trees, the total number goes up to 11. They killed 2 Hogs on the first field, 1 on the second field, and 7 on the last field.

The night started with the sighting of a solo Boar. They managed to kill it about 50 yards away. While taking pictures, they heard more Pig noises and decided to investigate. They moved up the hill and discovered a Sounder of over 25+ Hogs wandering around.

Excited by the opportunity, they shot and killed 5 more Wild Pigs from the sounder. Altogether, this resulted in a thrilling and Successful Hunting night with a total of 11 Hogs taken down (I count the one that passed in the woods). Book a Wild HogHunt today! We had another amazing Thermal Hog Hunt last night at Hog SWAT! Guide Luke (Hank) took Keegan the Gangster Hog Slayer and he brought his custom .308. Keegan flipped the first Hog on the run (solo) and right after setting it up for pictures, 2 more Wild Pigs had a death wish and emerged from the trees. Keegan lined them up and nailed both of them with one shot. Crazy!! The Wild Hog in the back started to limp away and Keegan finished it off by blowing its brains out. That was a zombie pig (brown and black) 100%. It did not want to die. Even after butchering it the Pig was still twitching. Overall Great Hog Hunt with Keegan. It was a great night for Hog SWAT! Rob and Jamie, a skilled Hunting Couple, successfully bagged two Wild Boars tonight. That’s what we call South Georgia’s finest Boar Hunting. The first one, a Black-colored Boar, was dispatched by Rob's expert marksmanship. He delivered a lethal blow, which he calls the "Texas Heart Shot," by shooting the animal up the anus and hitting its heart. The second boar was equally challenging as it walked within 50 yards of them in a semi-circular motion without detecting their presence. The couple took down the second boar towards the end of the night, adding two more impressive trophies to their collection. They plan to extract the skulls from these prized specimens. These guys took down eleventeen Hogs last night - not 12, not 10, but eleventeen. After a slow first night of Thermal Hog Hunting with only 2 down, we made up for it with a more productive latest hunt, taking down 5 on our first encounter, followed by a Coyote and another 6 Wild Hogs by the end. Needless to say, we were ecstatic with our haul. I would have to say these guys are a crazy good shot. Lets see if anyone can beat thier record this year!

Our team also welcomed Rob and Anthony, who booked with us for Anthony's first ever Hog Hunt. It was a roaring success and we're grateful that he chose to make Hog SWAT his First Hunting Experience.

It was an exceptional evening for our guests on their Hog Hunt! We feel privileged that they chose us at Hog S.W.A.T. for their first-ever Guided Wild Hog Hunting experience. What was a Hog Hunt turned into a Coyote Hunt In South Georgia. Despite the challenging full moon conditions, we managed to get one go-round on a Wild Hog last night. Unfortunately, the Hog made it to the woods and got away. But, thanks to our experienced guide Capt. Max, we were still able to claim a successful kill by calling in a pair of Coyotes and taking one down.
