Hog SWAT is thrilled to share the exciting story of Guide Hank's recent Guided Hog Hunt, where he led a group of enthusiastic Hunters on an Unforgettable Hunting Adventure. As they celebrated a special birthday, the group was treated to a Thrilling Night of Hunting, with Guide Hank at the helm.

The night started off a bit slow, but Guide Hank's determination and expertise didn't waver. He remained focused on his mission until the early hours of the morning, driven by his motto: "I don't stop until it's daylight or I have Pigs." And, as fate would have it, his persistence paid off around 4am.

The group stumbled upon a Group of Hogs, and the Hunt was on! With precision and skill, they managed to take down two Wild Hogs, and then things got even more exciting. As they returned to their fallen mother, Guide Hank spotted two more Wild Hogs making their way back to claim their dead kin. The bonus round was on, and the group took down two more hogs, capping off an incredible night of Hunting.

The night was a resounding success, with Guide Hank's expertise and guidance leading the group to a truly unforgettable experience. It's no wonder that Hog SWAT is known for its exceptional Hunting Experiences – and this birthday celebration was just the icing on the cake!

Hog SWAT's Nighttime Hunt: A Test of Persistence

Guide Hank led a Thrilling 1 Night Hog Hunt for Hog SWAT, but it wasn't without its challenges. Despite the obstacles, Guide Hank's expertise and determination ultimately paid off.

The Hunt began with a promising Sighting of Pigs in a field just off the main road, but just as they were getting into position, a side-by-side came barreling down the road, making a ruckus and sending the Wild Pigs Scattering. Undeterred, Guide Hank regrouped his team and pressed on.

Later in the night, a thick fog rolled in, making it difficult to spot any more Hogs. But Guide Hank's experience and knowledge of the terrain eventually led him to a new group of Wild Hogs. However, they were stuck behind a pivot, limiting their shooting options to just one shot.

With precision and skill, the Hunters took aim and fired true, bringing down one impressive hog. Despite the setbacks and challenges, Guide Hank's persistence and expertise ultimately secured a Successful Hunt. As he reflected on the night's events, Guide Hank concluded: "It was a great success!"

Graduation Hunt's

Guide Hank led a Memorable Hunt for Hog SWAT, marking a special occasion for a grandfather and grandson duo. The pair, who had been eagerly anticipating this moment, were on their first Hog Hunt together. Guide Hank's expert guidance ensured that this experience would be one to cherish.

After a patient wait, the group finally got on a group of Pigs around 3:30 am, marking a significant breakthrough in the Hunt. With precision and skill, they secured their first Wild Hog, making it a momentous occasion for both Grandpa and grandson. The successful kill was a testament to their determination and teamwork.

Guide Hank's post-hunt summary reflects his enthusiasm and satisfaction with the outcome: "It was a great success as usual!" This sentiment echoes the sense of accomplishment and joy shared by the grandfather and grandson duo.

As they walked away from the hunt with their prize, Grandpa and grandson couldn't help but feel proud of their accomplishment. This experience not only strengthened their bond but also created lifelong memories.

Late Night Hog Hunts

Last night, Guide Capt Ben led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for the Hog SWAT team that was filled with unexpected twists and turns. As they set out into the rugged terrain, the team found themselves driving around in circles, trying to track down the elusive wild hogs. The frustration was mounting as they seemed to be going in circles and coming up empty-handed.

But just when it seemed like luck was not on their side, the Pig Gods must have taken pity on them. Suddenly, a Group of Pigs popped out from the bushes, catching the team by surprise. With adrenaline pumping, they quickly got into position and took their shots. Despite the initial struggles, the team managed to drop 4 out of the 10 Hogs they shot at, a decent success rate for the night.

Guide Capt Ben's expertise and determination had paid off once again, leading the team to a Successful Hunt despite the initial setbacks. It was a night filled with excitement, challenges, and ultimately, triumph. The Hog SWAT team had proven once again that with perseverance and a bit of luck, they could overcome any obstacle in their path.

Hunting Wild Hogs

Last night, Guide Capt Ben led a 1 Night Hog Hunt for Hog SWAT. The team was eager to Take Down Some Wild Hogs, and Ben was determined to deliver a Successful Hunt. As they ventured out into the darkness of the night, the anticipation and excitement were palpable.

After some Tracking and Scouting, they finally came across a Massive Sounder of over 25 Pigs. The team quickly got into position and took their shots, managing to take down one of the Large Boars. It was a Thrilling Hunt, with the team celebrating their victory.

But the excitement didn't stop there. As they were making their way back to base camp, they came across an unsuspecting Armadillo. With a round of cheers and laughter, the team decided to have some fun and explode the armadillo, adding an unexpected twist to an already eventful night.

Overall, it was a night to remember for the Hog SWAT Team, filled with Adrenaline-Pumping Hunting Action and camaraderie. Guide Capt Ben had once again proven his expertise and skill, leading the team to a Successful Hunting Trip under the starlit sky.

Guide Hank led a 2 Night Hog Hunt, where he and the group embarked on two eventful nights of Hunting at Hog SWAT.

On the first night, they managed to take down 3 Big Bo Big Boars, all shot in the same group. The Successful Hunt resulted in a substantial amount of meat for the group, and everyone celebrated the great success of the evening.

The second night began with the group spotting a Solo Boar on the second field they visited. Despite getting a shot off, the Wild Boar was elusive and slipped away into the tall grass. However, their luck turned around later in the night when they encountered a Massive Boar weighing over 250 lbs. The Hunters successfully took down the Trophy Boar, choosing to preserve its head for a euro mount.

Guide Hank was delighted with the outcome of both nights, as the group experienced Thrilling Hunts and secured valuable trophies. Reflecting on the successful 2-Night Hunting Adventure, Hank looked forward to leading more Exciting Hunts in the future at Hog Swat.

This Little Piggy Didn't Make It Home

Photo: Big Pig Down @HogSWAT

Guide Hank embarked on a 1 Night Hog Hunt with this group at Hog SWAT . Early in the evening, they spotted a Pig, skittish and alert, which led them on a lengthy chase across the field. Despite their efforts to close in for a shot, the Elusive Pig managed to escape, sparing its life. The night continued with the group diligently searching various fields, but luck wasn't on their side until around 4 AM when they entered a field and successfully took a shot, resulting in One Hog Down. The night was long and arduous, yet it culminated in another commendable triumph.

Hunt Georgia

During a Hog Hunt led by Guide Capt Ben, a group of Hunters embarked on a new adventure of Thermal Hunting in South Georgia with Hog SWAT. Reflecting on the Hunt, Guide Capt Ben shared, "We had to grind for these Pigs."

Their first Stalk was interrupted by some Deer, startling the Hogs. The second Pig they encountered dashed across the field, proving to be a challenge. However, at 4:50, the group finally had a successful run. They embarked on a 1200-yard Stalk through waist-high Winter Wheat, ultimately taking a shot on four and dropping two Wild Hogs.

It was a night of perseverance and determination for Guide Capt Ben and his team, showcasing their skills in navigating the challenges of Hunting in South Georgia. The memorable experience will surely be cherished by the Hunters, who embraced the Thrill of the Hunt under Guide Capt Ben's guidance.

On the first night of Hog Hunting in March for Hog SWAT, Guide Hank led a group of four Hunters on a Successful Hunt. They had a good time and were able to head home early.

Early in the night, they were able to bring down a nice Boar, the only one they encountered. As the night progressed, the Hunters decided to call it quits early as they needed to leave early in the morning. Despite only spotting one Hog, it was a night of great success for the group. Here's to many more successful Hunts with Guide Hank leading the way for the Hog SWAT Team.

Wild Boar Tusks

Guide Hank didn't see a single Pig until 4am. Due to the full moon, when he spotted a Lone Boar sitting in a field, he didn't want to chance it running away upon noticing them. Crouching down and Army Crawling within 60 yards of the Hog, the Hunters were able to drop it with 2 bullets. The Boar had some very nice Boar Tusks, making it another Successful Hunt for Guide Hank.

The Jersey Boys Are Now The SWAT Boys

Words From Guide Capt Ben:

New Jersey’s finest. These fellas dropped the hammer on the Hogs tonight. Our first field appeared desolate at first. As we made our way out of the field however, 9 Pigs charged out of the woods and almost directly at the Hog Hunting Van. With the full moon, they easily saw the van. We kept a cool head and didn’t move a muscle, didn’t utter but a few whispers. Two of the Wild Hogs were very curious about this 12’ tall jet black van that was sitting in their cornucopia walking up to about 60 feet from the van. They darted away but calmed back down. After about 15 minutes of silently watching the Hogs we deemed them calm and with the utmost sound discipline, moving slowly, we set up our gear on the opposite side of the van. The hunters set up nearly shoulder to shoulder. We could see the hogs with our naked eye, meaning they could see us in turn. 3, 2, bang! 4 Hogs dropped immediately and several others were hit. In the fray one Hog got back up and started running for it’s life. We took shots on it, but the Swine had a strong will to live. We ended up with a Sow, Boar and Gilt yielding some excellent Wild Hog Meat and a nice Trophy Hog Head.

Our next go round took place on our third choice field. We spotted what almost looked like a Raccoon with its hind quarters high in the air. The guide disembarked from the van to get a closer look. The raccoon quickly turned into a Big Boar that was deep in the wallows it had been rooting all night. We set out on a 700 Yard Stalk and due to the intensity of the moonlight, took our shots from about 175 yards. The hog didn’t stand a chance, and after losing one that played opossum on our last go round, we gave this boar no quarter. A nice 250lb Boar, another Trophy Boar Head. Good shooting with these SWAT Boys. New Jersey is in good hands!

Harvesting Wild Hogs

Photo: Boar Hunting @PigProblem

Guide Capt Ben led the Hunt with varying levels of success, initially encountering Hogs darting across the fields. In the third field, a Lone Hog cautiously peeked out of the trees, catching their attention. After observing the Pig for approximately 10 minutes, the decision was made to move on to a more promising location.

As they departed, they were surprised to find that the initial Wild Hog had brought a companion along for the journey. With their gear at the ready and navigating unpredictable winds, they positioned themselves strategically behind the cover of tall winter wheat, utilizing the partial moonlight to their advantage. Taking careful aim from approximately 100 yards away, they managed to swiftly take down both Boars with precision shots, resulting in a successful and exciting conclusion to the Hunt. It was a memorable moment as both Hogs were harvested and the team celebrated their accomplishment in the field.

The Jersey Devil's Take On Wild Hogs

Photo Night 1: Solo Wild Hog @HogSWAT

Photo Night 1: It’s Play Time Kids @HogSWAT

Photo Night 2: Don’t Make A Deal With The Jersey Devils @HogSWAT

Guide Hank said these Jersey devils were hungry for Hog Meat so they took a Hunting Trip to Georgia where they could slay some Hogs with us. The first field they pulled into was empty, so they moved on to the next field where they found a Solo Hog and were able to take it down. The next few fields they checked were also empty, but on their last stop of the night they circled back to the first field they had looked at and found a Sounder of 20+ Pigs.

It wasn't a question of whether there were Pigs in a field, but rather when they would show up. The group Stalked the Pigs as they moved through the field, getting closer as they grew more comfortable. However, one of the Wild Pigs started approaching them, causing the rest of the Sounder to follow. The Jersey devils quickly set up their gear and were able to take down 3 Pigs before the others ran off the field.

Jersey Devils seem to have gotten their fill on Bacon because they only got one Piggy on night 2. Running around all night looking for the Wild Pigs with one briefly spotted before it disappeared. Word must’ve got out that the devils were in town because they were all hiding. At 3am a sharp Hog was spotted so we pulled out a death warrant and had the Wild Hog sign it in exchange for some peanuts. Naturally the hog got shot and died. Didn’t anyone teach that pig you don’t make deals with the devil?

2 PIG PILES 1 NIGHT

Photo: Hog Galore @HogSWAT

Photo: 2nd Pig Pile!! @HogSWAT

Guide Hank had some lethal company tonight. The first field they pulled into had Pigs and heavy rain. They shot and killed 6 Wild Pigs, with some on the run. Hank thought what they did was pretty awesome, so they decided to do it again. The second field they entered had a Sounder at the tree line. Approaching the Hogs with perfect wind, the group showed Hank that 6 wasn't just a fluke because they did it again, killing 6 more for a total of 12 Wild Hogs! These guys know how to have a good time and shoot with accuracy.

They checked several more fields to try and add to the number, but Guide Hank thinks the Hogs could sense these guys were nearby and made sure to stay clear of the Lethal Shooters. It was a great night of Hunting with these guys.

Wild Hog Hunting

Photo: Hunting Hogs In Georgia

It was a crazy and successful night with Jim and Roger. It started off with some unforeseeable minor issues when they were picked up, which led to them using a nearby field as a range to save time. After finishing the range sequence, a Sounder of Pigs was spotted just 6-700 yards out. They immediately started Hunting and only managed to kill one Pig due to a pivot behind it preventing further shots.

In the third field they checked, they found 5 Wild Hogs, but gunshots from a neighboring field scared them off. The Hogs had moved to another field behind the one they were on. Upon driving over to the other field, they found the Wild Pigs hiding in a low spot and managed to kill 2 Big Boars and injured a third that escaped into the woods.

The sixth and final field they pulled into was teeming with deer, over 100 of them. Upon closer inspection, they noticed 2 Wild Pigs mixed in with the deer. As they approached the Pigs, a deer started blowing at them, alerting the Pigs and causing them to move further away. After following the Hogs for about 100 yards, Jim and Roger took their shots and successfully killed both Wild Hogs, the two biggest of the night weighing over 200lbs each.

After taking some pictures, they encountered another minor issue but that didn't deter them. They eventually made it back home with a total of 5 pigs, despite the setbacks at the beginning and end of the hunt. We hope it was night of Hog Hunting that Jim and Roger will never forget.

Hog Snipers

Photo: Big Boy @HogSWAT

2nd night started off slow. They found some Pigs but got screwed by the terrain and wind. That didn’t stop them because they kept looking until they snuck up on a group of Juvenile Pigs. They killed 4, and one of them was from Tyler with a ~300 Yard Snipe from a Hog on the run! It was already around 3am when they finished up. The last field they checked held a Sounder where the guys dropped 5 Wild Hogs. After Butchering and walking off the field I spotted a Solo Pig begging to be shot so we took a detour on the way to the Hunting Van and killed the last Wild Pig of the night topping the group off at a nice even 10 Pigs making it double digits!

Hog Hunting In Georgia

Photo: Hogs Down! @HogSWAT

On the second night of their Hog Hunt, they started off hot and found 6 Pigs in their second choice field. After a short Stalk down the access road, they set up and dropped 4. After Butchering the Hogs, they drove around looking for more but unfortunately, some things that start with a bang end with a whimper.
